Historical Emporium is the best place for suburb Old West gear - the only better resource MIGHT be a connection to a good costumer for western filmmakers. I wear Western clothing, from boots to hats every day, not for re-enactment, and I depend on HE for well-made (seldom Chinese) clothing. The fits are very good, the materials are top grade, and the styling is excellent. HE gets your order out quickly and efficiently. I have never been disappointed. I come to the website frequently to see what new shirts they have - and I even buy the same shirt in different colors because the materials are awesome, comfortable, and sharp looking. I seriously doubt there are customers who are more satisfied with HE than I, but I know there are lots of very happy customers.

I was in the market from some unique leather holsters for a surprise gift for my wife. I didn't want to get just a run of the mill plane jane holster for the .22 pea shooter I bought her. I stumbled upon this website & luckily she could fit the smallest men's western belt. Bought a belt for myself too. We got similar handguns and similar belts. Sort of adds a classy western motif to the house You know it is real leather when you open up the box and can smell it. Nice quality leather I haven't got around to trying the holster in the gun yet, was hoping to clean and fire them this weekend and test the holster out as well. Only thing I wish they offered was free shipping. If you spent over $300 the shipping should be at least free right?

I ordered the (.44/.45cal) western gun belt and holster RH (long barrel) and the western holster RH cross draw black tooled leather. They were shipped and delivered quickly. They hold both my 1858's perfectly. So far I've had no issues with them and they are beautifully crafted. The sizing was just right. I will definitely be ordering from historical emporium again.

I have owned a few Heritage Rough Rider pistols for a couple of years and always thought that it would be very cool to have a belt and holster set. But not just any belt and holster set. I wanted something that looked like a "High Falootin" Gunslinger from the Old West would wear. Not a cheap imitation. Not a vinyl belt and holster. Not a plain, black Law Enforcement belt and holster. But something that had a big "WOW" factor. I stumbled upon Historical Emporium and was amazed at the look of the many holsters, belts, combinations, even the outfits were amazing looking. I chose the double holster for the Heritage .22 pistols. The description does not do justice to the quality craftsmanship of the belt and holsters. When I unboxed it I was, first overwhelmed by the fantastic aroma of leather. Not Pleather, not vinyl. But Real Leather. Thick, strong, decade-lasting Leather. The stitching is perfect. The detail and the coloring is phenomenal. I ordered my size based on the sizing chart and it was Spot-On. Somewhere in the description or details about guns that fit I read that the Heritage Rough Rider may not sit well in the holsters, and that the 71/2" Barrel Rough Rider would not work well. I must disagree. The holsters have a remarkable adjustment for snug fitting. Just squeeze the holster and the hidden (Magic) band holds the holster's shape and the pistol is held perfectly in place. As for the 7 1/2" Barrel Rough Rider not working well, I can attest to the fact that it works just fine with these holsters. I have a couple of videos on YouTube (Jeff Shoemake, Team WayPastFast) of "QuickDraw" actions with my Pistols. After a bit of practice I was able to quickly draw and fire the 6 1/2" and 7 1/2" barrel pistols from these holsters. I could ramble on for another hour about how much I love my Historical Emporium Belt and Holster. If you are looking for the Real-Deal Belt and Holster, look no further. As Christmas presents, I am buying two more of these for my friends who own Heritage Pistols and have been drooling over my belt and holster rig. I also plan to get the "Cross-Draw" holster for my belt so I can carry three pistols on this belt.
