I have been actively reenacting the Old West, since the late 1960's, and have performed in both live action shows, and films, which required extras, and stunt people, familiar with the West, and the Indian, and Civil War, periods. But, in those days...if we could not find the actual, authentic, clothes, and equipment to use...and the wardrobe department was unable to provide the proper items...we hand made everything we wore, ourselves. There were NO places like the Historical Emporium in existence at that time. So, I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your firm's existence! I am now 70 years old, having just reached my 50th year of marriage to the same women, whom I MET in a STUNT SHOW, playing a Saloon Girl, where I first talked to her ON STAGE, for the first time. In celebration of this anniversary, we are throwing an Old West Party, on my ranch near Austin, Texas...where everyone dresses like its the 1880's...inviting everyone we know. I thought the products that I purchased were great. However I ordered them one size to small. I sent them back today and ask for an exchange to the next bigger size.

After lots of looking to put together a good costume for a Halloween party, the Historical Emporium (HE) site kept being 'the' place with the best options. I always brace myself that the products are rarely as good as the photos but HE just proved to be the exception. Of the several products I purchase, ALL were as good as the images, and exceeded my expectations. Really high quality and very competitive pricing.
