I tried to find out more about a reversible skirt it seems I'm a little 'fluffy' for your largest size but I didn't want to special order in case I didn't like the style or fabric. I was told I could order the largest size to see garment & if it didn't fit I then could return it & order the size needed. The questions were answered within about 48 hours (consider weekend shopping & questions) very quick service.

I have been actively reenacting the Old West, since the late 1960's, and have performed in both live action shows, and films, which required extras, and stunt people, familiar with the West, and the Indian, and Civil War, periods. But, in those days...if we could not find the actual, authentic, clothes, and equipment to use...and the wardrobe department was unable to provide the proper items...we hand made everything we wore, ourselves. There were NO places like the Historical Emporium in existence at that time. So, I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your firm's existence! I am now 70 years old, having just reached my 50th year of marriage to the same women, whom I MET in a STUNT SHOW, playing a Saloon Girl, where I first talked to her ON STAGE, for the first time. In celebration of this anniversary, we are throwing an Old West Party, on my ranch near Austin, Texas...where everyone dresses like its the 1880's...inviting everyone we know. This is why I bought my things from you people...and I cannot be more pleased I did so! Thank you!!

I was concerned because the dress fabric had such a strong dye scent and the front of the dress was almost 2 inches longer than the back on the hanger and when I tried it on. After I washed the dress and hemmed the front I am happy with it. I am impressed with the details and it pressed easily enough.
