Deck your neck with our Red Duncan Satin Puff Tie, a popular look for gentlemen in the 19th century. The rich, red-on-red damask adds a jolly good pop of color for the holidays or other special occasions.

A cross between an ascot and a scarf, the puff tie lends an unexpected swath of silken color to the retro wardrobe. Each side of the tie measures approximately 12-inches long and 3-inches wide at the bottom. A narrower ¾-inch band fits under the collar and hooks in back; adjustable to fit neck sizes from 14 to 20 inches. Bling it on, a faux ½ inch diamond stud also included! Other colors of tie tacks available here.

The satin puff tie is made from colorful, medium weight material. The sewing is thorough. The design is excellent. The hook fastener is a little looser than I prefer, but it can be tightened with pliers. The tie comes with the jewel pin. The tie may seem a little expensive, but quality of materials and workmanship make it an excellent value. B

Good tie, poor tack
The puff tie itself is very nice, well made, and an attractive red. It even has a tab underneath to pin through and make a really good puff. The tie tack that comes with it looks inexpensive, which is not a crime, but the point on it is too dull to go through fabric, especially the under tab. If you already have a good tie tack to wear with the tie, or a fat darning needle to start a hole, you will be fine. Otherwise, it may be frustrating.
