Our Gold Leaf Victorian Cameo cultivates a look of sweet sophistication that many ladies envy. It was her go-to accessory, a favorite among many fine things she acquired during her relatively short and privileged life.

In the Victorian era, owning a cameo brooch was a symbol of status, especially a piece inlaid with precious stones or commissioned to resemble the profile of the wearer. This beautiful cameo features a gold tone setting, an ivory carved beauty, and red and pink glass stones framing the oval brooch. Pendant measures 2½" x 2" and may be pinned on a blouse or worn on a velvet around the neck.

Imported.

Fun piece to wear with 19th-20th century...
Representing an older character in the Colorado Springs CO annual Legends & Lore Cemetery Crawl. Her date is 1906, moving from Edwardian to "modern" simplicity. This lovely broach complements my honey-colored Edwardian suit and honors the last of the Victorians. Ladies don't throw away a good piece of jewelry! They wear it with pride and, a certain amount, of defiance!
