The tie is of good quality, and it is very easy to take on and off. It also comes with a sparkly pin, which is a nice addition to the tie. Definitely would recommend for weddings or formal occasions.

I needed a tie to wear for a charles dickens Christmas party and it worked perfectly.

Good for 1800s cosplay and such.

Wore this to a wedding this weekend. It was the perfect crowning touch to my Cowboy cut tux and western vest. Looks as good as the pictures here and it arrived early. I have never been disappointed in anything I have ordered from this business. The wedding photographer kept taking photos and said we were the best dressed couple. This was my first purchase from the Hisorical Emporium and I have to say I'm impressed. I had been looking for something different for awhile but could never find anything that caught my eye untill I found this website. I looked through what they had and was shocked to find vintage styl clothes for a good price and I purchased a red Twin city vest and this silver puff tie. I wore this to church and other events and immediately recieved complements from my friends who kept asking me where I got it but all that aside this is a very good product I love the adjustable neck band verses a clip on and the quality is outstanding for the price and I will be getting another soon.

I bought this tie to wear day to day. It is a stunning color and easy to wear. The only issue I had was that the tie tack looks a little cheap, other than that, I highly recommend this tie.

I wanted a second shirt and a different necktie for my GAR impression. Although the shirt was listed as a special order and I was cautioned that it would take longer to send, it came in record time- two weeks.

Bought this for a formal ceremony and got quite a few positive comments. A little tough to adjust the tie yourself, but a little help from your lady friend will do the trick. Paired it up with the Livingston Vest and a frock coat. Great look for the price.

I suspect that others are like me, most of the Old West clothing makers cut everything large, so when I ordered shirts even though I wear an extra large shirt for work, I order large shirts, with Vests, I know what size vests fit me in different clothing makers, but if you don't list the maker I will not order them. I recently purchased the Black Polka Dot Cotton Teck Tie and I want to let you know how extraordinarily pleased I am with it. Every re-enactor who is serious about historic authenticity should own this item. About a year ago, I purchased a similar item from a supplier outside the U.S. The Teck Tie from Historical Emporium cost a fraction of what I paid for the overseas item, and the Emporium's version is identical to what is depicted in period photography and portraits. Kudos to the folks at Historical Emporium!

Bought to add to my other ties.

This tie fastens like a pre tied bow tie with a hook and clasp that is adjustable. The style and tie tack is unlike any you will find in a men�s store. It is short fat and flat at the bottom. Can�t wait to take off my vest and have this tie really look authentic with the high collar shirt whose buttons match the tie length.

This is a truly beautiful ascot. I thought the colors were stunning in the online photos, but let me just say the pictures don't do it justice! It is also the perfect length, and the material is quite comfortable. This was my first purchase here, but it certainly won't be my last.

This is one of my least expensive ties and my only ascot. With that in mind I must say that the quality of it is better than my much more expensive ties. I would highly recommend this.

This is an excellent quality ascot. It is made form a quality material and has a good weight to it and it has plenty of length to achieve the look you want. It is lustrous, but not too shiny. Just right. I'm sure I'll be able to use this for many different outfits.
