Very high quality real leather,authentic western style

I ordered a size too small I think, but I'm breaking in the leather still. Still fits well and holds my tools. Backing material that shows on the holster proper looks very cheap/papery. I'd recommend refinishing that bit or doing something with it. Everything else is good quality leather and construction. Designs are reminiscent of some leatherwork an old Mexican Vaquero friend of mine made for my 30-30, and as such fit right in with the rest of my custom leatherwork items. Though this isn't "custom", it is hand made in Mexico and made well. Designs may have variation as they are, again, hand stamped,

I am extremely pleased with the quality of this gun belt and holster! There’s nothing like the smell snd feel of good quality leather! The leather is a very good quality with beautiful tooling done to perfection! The stitching was solid and evenly done. The cartridge loops are perfect for 357mag cartridges. The quality is such that if I saw it in a leather goods shop I would expect to pay hundreds of dollars more than I paid! I would highly recommend this product to someone wanting a belt that will give them years of service!

Make sure to check sizes carefully! The quality and tooling of the leather is wonderful, especially for the price. Buy the right size and it fits like a glove. I wear my pants low on my hips and buy pants with a 32" waist. I bought the 36" holster and only have one more punch hole to loosen it before it doesn't fit. There is a few punch holes to make it tighter, however. Once it's on, it is very comfortable and sturdy.

Although personally I’d rather a simpler design, and maybe a smaller profile around the holster, it worked perfectly as both a belt and great piece for a cosplay I had done. It feels extremely durable so I know this will last for a long while, though I may not use it more than a few times. Worth the price for good craftsmanship

What I also like is it works great as a cross draw or conventional.

Ordered both strong side right handed and left handed. Both appear to be the same deign and quality and both seem to exhibit the same craftsmanship. My Rugar Vaqueros fit nicely. I was worried that the high rider belt might pose some problems drawing the revolvers and re-holstering them, but in competition last week end, they seem to work just fine. They are a generic design, so they are not specifically fitted for my 38-357 SAAs - but again, this does not seem to be an issue. Time will tell if they are duarable enough to hold up to the stresses and demands of competition. On the other hand the price is so reasonable that replacing them every three or four years would not be a significant burden - but I do EXPECT them to last much much longer.

1st one I bought and was bigger but will work as a backup. I bought another that fits perfectly. Would recommend to go smaller on your measurements when sizing yourself. My first was a 48 and was big but worked my second was a 42 and fits more perfectly. The quality is outstanding and very well made for long lasting time.

Outstanding product. Revolver fits perfectly. The holster itself is so sturdy that it is easy to draw from even without the tie down. Leather looks great and is well appointed. Color is rich throughout. Shells fit well within the belt loops. Service was ridiculously fast. Belt and holster arrived within a week. Due to my incorrect measuring of belt size, I had to do a return. (I have a 38" waist, the 40" belt fits great) The replacement arrived in seven days.

Love the holster. I wanted something plain and not too fancy. exactly what I was looking for to match the powder belt I bought to attach it to. the gun sits a tad deep in the holster but it doesn't matter to me since I always customize mine exactly the way I need it. it sits well on the hip, good tough leather. A great fit and great for my left hand. My right hand no longer works safely since I had a stroke and I can't cock the hammer on a single action pistol without squeezing the trigger prematurely. Fortunenately I 've been ambidextrous and was able to use a left draw holster. The price was right for such a good quality leather holster.

It's well made, well sized, and so far has no issues with a weighty .357. I don't find my own rounds in the dirt and off my belt, that is to say the ammunition loops do their jobs with 9mm, .357, and .38. I've shoved some 30-30 in there too while in the mountains. Looks good, looks gaudy, fits well, won't dump your pistol or ammo in the dirt before you're done with em. Comfortable to ride with, walk with, or sit with. Is it silly n' gaudy to wear this around? As gaudy as silver spurs with jinglebobs, but I've never known a buckaroo to shy away from flashy.

Exceptional Quality.

This is a really nice gun belt for the money. Think they are made in Mexico but you can get a lot of nice leather products in Mexico if you've ever been down there. Not sure if it's hand-tooled or not but the tooling is beautiful. Leather is thick and it has heavy duty stitching so I have no doubt that it will hold up for years to come. Everything is pretty stiff so I've been applying leather conditioner to mine to get it softened up. I ended up also buying their cross draw holster in the same color and it matched perfectly. Wanted to get geared up to start going to S.A.S.S. matches and this rig should work just fine. Everyone that sees it comments on how nice it is and can't believe how affordable it was. I am a 34 waist so I opted to get the 40" belt and it worked out pretty well. It's in the middle hole for me and it sits cocked down at an angle just below my regular belt. Inside of the holster is rigid and slightly bigger than my Uberti 1873 Cattleman II so the draw is quick but it certainly won't fall out plus it has a retention strap that goes around the hammer of the gun that is adjustable. Not much more to say...if you're looking for a gun belt you certainly can't go wrong with this one. Just watch your sizing. Gonna want to go up at least 2 sizes if not 3.

I am very pleased with the Gun Belt and Holster..I did Order the .38 / .357 but it does not fit me Ruger .357..GP 100. The Trigger guard needs a cut-out for it to slide in all the way.

Made really well with a nice pattern, my Taylor's and company 357 fit awesome and the bullets fit perfect in the belt. Only issue but not a big deal is Im a 32 waist and got a 34 but probably would have got a 36 if I had it to do over, just a little snug.

Product was as described. I wear a size 33 pants and ordered a size 38 like the instructions said. Fit perfect. Beautiful leather work and i love the smell of the fresh leather. Fits 45 long colt like a glove. I paid twice as much for one that doesn't compare to this one. Will order from again soon.

I am glad I went with the Two tone Brown. The tooling and reliefs are done with love and care. Too bad cartridges are unavailable or I would tell how they fit although judging from experience I think they'll fit nice and snug. It is a work of art and a utility all in one my compliments to the crafter of my gun belt and thank you.

Fits my 1878 Remington long barrel clone just fine. The aluminum sandwich means I can shape it for a snugger or looser fit, so if I want to switch to another gun, I can adjust the tension of the holster.

Fits well with space for drawing, maybe more than necessary but not problematic. It fits full length 8-9 barrels. Says cross draw but still hangs/fits straight. Good leather, well made, from Mexico. Worth the price.

Yes, this is a 5 star review plain and simple. Not only did this holster fit my 1858 Remington, but also fit my S&W model 29 both with 8" barrel lengths. The holster is sleek and well made, real leather, and a real eye catcher. Pretty rare when I am 100% satisfied with anything, but yes this is one of those times. Recommend it hands down.

Shipment arrived a day early. Holster fits my 1873 cavalry model perfectly. Stitching is solid, holster is as well. Leather appears to be of high quality and the black stain is great. Only reason for 4 stars is that the leather was a bit dried out when it arrived. Quick application of a leather conditioner and everything is good to go. This holster should last me a lifetime out in the woods with proper care.

The holster was nice. It did not fit my revolver but it seemed to be constructed well. Even though their compatibility mentioned that it would handle the Blackhawk 357, it did not mention that it only handled the Blackhawk old model.

I was slightly concerned about getting the correct belt size, but that was not an issue. I measured myself as shown on the webpage, and it fits just right.

The holster came exactly as illustrated on the website. I followed the sizing chart information and the fit was perfect. I wear a size 32" pant and the sizing instructions suggested a size 38". I was a bit sceptical but it fits great and rides like it should. For once I followed the directions and I'm glad I did. I bought this for my husband's birthday and he loved it.

I think The Emporium needs to have more fitting advice for things like this holster. I had a very hard time feeling out the what is the right fit where the weight of the pistol does not drag down the entire holster or the holster being too tight. Other wise the craftsmanship on these leather goods is very good. That being said I will have to order another in the perfect size for everyday ware. I highly recommend these holsters.

I have a Rough Rider 22 Long Rifle Revolver and I ordered one of your Western Holsters for it, and it is a match. The Holster is as tough as the gun is. I had a 2 inch brown leather belt which worked perfect. The Revolver now lives in the Holster and goes to the firing range with me. As you know the Holster can be put on either side (Hip) and that depends on which direction you want your Butt of the Revolver going. I ordered online, and the Holster arrived at a normal time. No long wait. There is not going to be an issue with the Holster because it is made of tough leather. It can also be adjusted to fit your Revolver by pressing on the holster.
