Captain Constantine Barbarossa

The mere mention of the name, Constantine Barbarossa, invokes fear in the hearts of all sailors cruising the High Seas be they in the Mediterranean or Caribbean. Known for his ruthlessness, devious tactics and prowess in sword-fighting, this callous and cantankerous privateer doesn’t like to be bothered with taking prisoners.

But, Captain Barbarossa rarely has an actual need to swing his cutlass. So notorious is his reputation, that captains of ships, no matter how well armed, immediately surrender at the sight of his distinctive black sailed vessel, ready and willing to hand over their precious cargo. Recovered crew journals confirm that chests of booty are often thrown directly from one ship’s deck to the next. The submitting vessel knows that to put up a challenge is the equivalent of certain death.
