Some bloom where they’re planted, but in our Autumn Vest she blossomed everywhere she went. Ready for a day in town paired with a 19th century Twill Walking Skirt, she was lady-like and lovely.

This attention-grabbing ladies’ vest is made of a lightweight tapestry fabric. The vest is self-backed and features notched lapels and five beautiful pewter-look buttons up the front. Two inset waist pockets provide space for a lady’s must-haves such as a delicate hankie or silver compact. Adjustable ties in the back create a custom fit. Pair with a riding skirt for a historical look or wear with jeans for a modern look. 

This vest is fashioned from 100% cotton, including the lining, for your complete comfort. Dry clean or machine wash cold and hang dry. Imported.

Beautiful, high quality!

I'm dressing as my Great, great grandmother in a civil war reenactment in October. She traveled on 50 miles horseback with a baby to warn the Union officers of a confederate plot. The resulting battle was a victory and turning point for the Union in Kentucky.

The outfit I have purchased is no doubt, higher quality and more stylish than what my great, great grandmother actually wore. She lived on a farm, no slaves, family help only.

I did purchase a belt and pistol which I may have to return as it is pretty heavy. I'm will decide between the carbine rifle and sling as soon as the sling comes in the mail. I'm all set for Oct 25-26 love my outfit.
