Dressed for an honest day’s work at the printing press, our Bosworth Three-Piece Sack Suit offers the authority of a gentleman without sacrificing practicality. Even in the sweltering heat of a steam-operated shop, propriety demanded that a man remain properly attired — particularly when business or social callers might arrive unannounced.

The Bosworth Sack Coat fastens with four buttons — a common detail of the era — and maintains clean exterior lines with no outer pockets. Practicality remains intact with a convenient interior breast pocket and a discreet hidden “ticket” pocket for securing small valuables.

The soft wool-blend fabric keeps the Bosworth Trousers dressy and stylish with a thin vertical pinstripe. Cut true to the era, they feature a high waist, button-front fly, suspender buttons, two front slant pockets, one coin pocket, and one rear inset pocket. Trousers are unlined and hemmed with a 36-inch inseam.

Finally, the Bosworth Vest features a pointed-front hem and notch collar reminiscent of the vintage era. Buttons fasten up the front, and two inset front pockets offer storage for small, on-the-go items. It is self-backed and includes an adjuster buckle.

The Bosworth Sack Suit is crafted from a blend of 25% wool, 35% polyester, and 40% acrylic, and the jacket & vest both feature a full 100% acetate lining. Imported. Dry clean only. 

Fit Note: This Sack Coat is a Slim Fit. If you intend to wear it fully buttoned or prefer additional room through the midsection, we recommend sizing up.
