Canvas Double Breasted Vest - Brown

Great vest, I love pretty much everything about it.
I had to wait a little while to get it in the mail, but definitely worth it. Also, it’s a really durable material.

Usually I can wear a large for anything that does not have shoulders. Was unable to make the buttons "go". As a Medium this was great (for my medium sized friend).

Twice is a Charm! I ordered a Large the first time and returned it today due to it was too small. Soon as I received it I ordered a Extra Large, it arrived today and is great. Will be ordering the Green one next. Quality Vest for sure.

I've always wanted a true double breasted vest, my wife got this one for me for Christmas and it IS a true double breasted vest. The canvas duck is great for working in the shop or just going out. Great fit, stylish, I love this vest.

This Double breasted vest is of great quality. It is tube shaped rather than tapered so gives a little more room to breath so to speak. Match your size according to the larger; belly or chest. The 36 fit for my husband who normally wears 34 pants. We paired it with two different shirts, the Virgil and Bellamy for different looks. The quality is wonderful, the customer service was 10 out of 10. I would highly recommend any products from Historical Emporium.

XXL fits larger than expected, but not drastically. Canvas feels durable. Lighter and cooler than expected. Pockets are reasonably sized and useful.

The vest is a fine quality canvas material and I found it a true fit.

The vest is surprisingly thick and warm, and the stitching is carefully done. The double buttons are not for show but are all functional. The sizing was also perfect. I am more than pleased with the vest, obviously, and it arrived quickly after purchase.

Not as red as it looks in person. It's more of a dark burgundy/brown colour. Which is more authentic to the era and the more practical nature of it. But otherwise looks and feels fantastic. Has bronze buttons which are easy to do up and undo. Best way to do it is the left vertical row first then the right.

Looks great! Looking forward to getting a lot of wear out of it this winter.

I was underprepared for just how thick and durable this vest was going to be. It really is a thick canvas material and pairs well with canvas trousers for a formal look that is still functional for work. Do not recommend wearing this on a hot day though, it is seriously a thick fabric. The fabric is so thick I struggle to get my US Marshal badge through the fabric for my cosplay XD!

The quality of workmanship is excellent. I love the look. I'm 5'10 and about 175 pounds and the medium fit well except for one place, the arm pits. I really love this vest yet the arm hole size makes it almost unwearable. I don't have big arms and a large would have been way too big everywhere else. I can still wear it but it is quite tight. Other vests I've bought from you are not like this. You might want to mention this fact to whoever makes these for you. I understand that the world is not perfect and things like this happen. I still love it and might pay to have it altered in the future. Thank you, Dedicated Customer.
