Detachable Cotton Collar (Spearpoint) - White

This collar is way better than the one without reinforcement. I wore it to a wedding, and it was exactly what I wanted. The only downside is that there’s no interfacing around the buttonholes. I’ve bought multiple wing collar shirts before, but none of them had this specific design. I wanted a wing collar exactly like the one Brad Pitt was wearing in Inglourious Basterds, and this collar was exactly that. Their sizing is accurate you have to measure your neck while wearing the shirt you want to wear it with. I’m waiting for them to restock the size S as XS is too tight.

It’s an amazing product that paired up very nicely with my late 1880s shirt. I would highly recommend this to anyone who would like to dress up their l 1880s impression

Historical Emporium really is a great place to shop for those who like the dress common to earlier times and fashions. This collar represents that period in history plus being of a sturdier quality, will wear better and hold up longer than any that are not reinforced. It all depends upon usage. Are you wearing the collar for a one time occasion or more times on several shirts?

Having corrected this presumption, I propose to get on with the review...
Redundancy is not my intent but as stated in the title, the key word here is, "reinforced". The collar itself may adorn any number of shirts on any number of that earlier word, now pluralized, "occasions". A collar of such an obviously classical specimen elevated to enhance the attire must be created with substance as well as being aesthetically complimentary to one's costume. This particularly handsome example fills both requirements very well and should certainly be considered for purchase.

I ordered the size based on my neck size and it came, looking good, but also too big. I will have to try and tailor it smaller to fit with the shirt I have.

The collar is of very high quality and works well with the shirts I already have, it does run slightly big but still fits nicely. I will definitely be a return customer.

My neck size is 17. I had a collarless formal shirt made and needed a collar so I bought one that would work with a shirt I would buy from my neck size. I know you have a separate size chart, which I didn't use originally. It did not work. I bought a second going by the size chart for collars.

I may in the future want a backup shirt, but it worries me if I should go by my neck size or by the size of the second collar I bought which fits.

I purchased the collar to replace a wing collar on a dress shirt. I'm happy with the construction and quality but I didn't choose the correct size and it'll cost too much to return so I'll try to adjust the size down. The error was mine. The product is excellent and was shipped quickly. Would buy from this company again.

These are good collars but are sized LARGE. My advice? Order a size smaller.

I ordered a 15-15.5" collar, but I received a nearly 17" collar. I was very easily able to get it tailored down, but overall, it looks nice and gets me nothing but good compliments. Id recommend that you order a size down if you would like the collar to fit a bit more snug.

Doing a 1910 feature we found these collars run large. But that’s why you have fittings. They tea dye down easily
