I am impressed with the quality of this vest. I was hoping that I’d get something that I would be able to touch up and use in a few weeks. But this baby arrived in perfect condition! No loose threads, no button holes that are too tight, no problems at all! The fabric makes it so versatile. I wear the vest without a jacket, and I wear it with a suit jacket. No matter how you wear it, it just looks classy!

The vest was exactly what I was lookin for. Sizing is precisely what I was expecting. Quality appears to be above average and I expect several years of use from this new vest.

Looks very nice and fits well. I dress in a casual style at work with these style of vest: open, with white shirt, no tie, and black slacks.
The only reason for not giving 5-stars would be because the back fastening strap/belt tends to come loose from its buckle and hang down.
Easy to fix with a quick tack with threads. They are largely ornamental.

I needed this vest for a period-style vaudeville show. It can be difficult to judge how such a stylish vest will look on a large man, so I was a little bit apprehensive. But to my considerable relief it really looks quite good on me (at least my wife says so! And so did the show's director).
The vest is made of sturdy, easy maintenance fabric and the subtle floral pattern keeps it understated without being lifeless. In other words, perfect for the stage.

the small size I bought was slightly bigger than my son's built, but overall a good looking vest.

This is a great vest, it looks nice and is made from high quality fabric.
Unfortunately the vest was extremely large in the chest area, while it actually fits well around the waist. Therefore alteration was needed, which was not quite cheap.

What can I say? This item is PERFECT! It's so very rare that I find a nice Victorian/western style vest that not only looks great, but fits well. This is all of that. Beautifully made, and highly recommended, and unlike the more expensive Victorian vests you find at Halloween stores, and various costume shops... this vest has REAL pockets!

This vest works for me on multiple levels too... for my Victorian garb, my western garb, and even worn with my modern day suit. It makes my two piece into a three piece that is quite dashing, and it's so well made, I won't worry about it ever wearing out.

This deep black damask shimmering floral pattern vest is so beautiful, classy, and formal. I am a players club promotional officer in a local casino and I wear it as part of my work uniform along with a complete outfit from Historical Emporium.
