My wonderful wife is presently out to my tailor to retrieve the said trousers. Other than hemming the legs, the trousers fit well and are exactly as advertised. I'm very pleased with every item I've ordered from these people and I've bought several for my wardrobe. I will wait until my outfit is all together and then I'll send a picture.

I have been buying Historical Emporium's canvas trouser for years, at first for reenacting, now I wear them all the time. They are the best work pants money can buy. I bought the gray herringbone tweed trousers because I wanted something dressier in the same cut. Once I got them on and saw how they were made and how they fit I bought the rest of the suit at once. You will too.

Excellent fit! Bought the whole suit. Had the trousers hemmed and cuffed by a local tailor, very happy with it all. coat and vest are perfect fits. Good material, wish it would be just a slight bit thicker but overall pleased. Finally a nice suit!

True to size in waist, the leg length however is excessively long, a quality seamstress can fix this, incredibly authentic, I'm an Irishman so fits perfect with my style.

This was a perfect addition to my new Victorian Santa suit. My niece (costume designer for a big Vegas show) made me a new vest and coat - but we needed the perfect late 19th century pants. The Olive Herringbone Tweed trousers make the ensemble perfect.

Great fit and construction! I am 6'5" and like my pants to sit on my actual waist (unlike modern pants of today) and these were just the ticket! Plenty long and adjustable, as well as warm. Nice deep pockets. Well worth the price!

These trousers are part of Historical Emporium's Grey Tweed herringbone collection. As recommended, choose one size larger than your usual waist size because of the way they fit. You definitely need a nice pair of button-on suspenders to go with these, and use them when you're getting them measured for hemming. I had mine done with cuffs. Beautiful, high quality trousers. I plan to buy more articles in this collection.

These pants are great for a historical wardrobe, they are comfortable and historically accurate. A bit baggy around the calves, which could maybe be tightened a bit, but that is a matter of taste.

really love these pants. The detail like the tightener in the back really add to the Victorian feel.I am kind of a public figure in a Victorian village, and a nod to the past without overdoing it is PERFECT for me. Hope to see more things become available.

These trousers are everything!!! Exactly what I was looking for. Perfect fit, I just had to have my tailor hem the length, as they all come with 36" inseam. Well worth the money for a perfectly tailored and unique pair of trousers.

Fit is true to size, excellent material weight, excellent craftsmanship, very good historical accuracy.

The fabric stretches a bit which made them feel about 2 inches roomier in the waist than the same size Wahmaker, Livingston, Dorian, or Sable Trousers.

These do itch a little bit but that goes with the fabric type. The extra lining helps with that.

Stitches ripped open on the waist adjuster and outer seams of the front pockets after about 5-6 wears. Took me a couple minutes to fix with a sewing machine and could easily be done by hand. I really liked these after doing so. They'll last a good while. To me they're worth the price.
