This compliments my attire for many different occasions. I'm a returning customer who enjoys dressing in the style of the Victorian Era and also this style is what I generally wear at the plethora of events we attend hawking our wares favoring wildlife. This outfit fit quite well other than the frock coat that visited my tailor who worked his magic. Remember It's impossible to create any garment that fits everyone. Coats and pants are probably the top two on the list. Unless you're one of the lucky ones who on occasion gets something off the rack that fits to a tee, most dress clothing requires some amount of tweaking.

As with the other items that I've purchased from Historical Emporium, this does not disappoint. The quality of the work is very good. The vest, itself, is on the light side but not flimsy, if that makes any sense to the reader. The patterning on the fabric of the front is quite visible and, when I posted pictures of it, received favourable comments. It's a beautiful piece though a bit of a step outside my usual black and dark red palette ;)

I was initially interested in a different vest, but it was out of stock and I needed a very BLUE vest for an outfit I am putting together for Halloween, so rolled the dice on this one -- AND WON!

Outstanding vest and fit! The delivery time was unbelievable and now that I have it, I can see other uses for it during the year with other suits I have if I want to "take them up a level" as well.

I'm 5'10, broad shouldered, but shorter upper body, so I'm always concerned with the length of such items, but this one fit spot-on! This together with my black bowler and royal blue hat band I am using for Halloween (and purchased from this site) will make for a great statement at parties over the coming week...and beyond.

when you get to the larger sizes, it is sometimes hard to find clothes that fit. well so far everything we have ordered through here has fit. and look great on. this vest is well made and could be worn in everyday life.

I love this vest. The material and workmanship are all first class. The fit was true to size and the adjustment strap in the back kept it snug around my middle. Highly recommended and yes, I would buy it again.

This Medium vest we received from the Historical Emporium fit like a glove on my 6'3 180Lbs fiancé. It came quickly and you can tell is made very well and with such a nice material! We will definitely be using this site again if we ever need more Victorian period clothing!

I needed the vest for a themed turn of the century wedding (1900"s). It was PERFECT.
