Archibald Singleton, Railroad Engineer

A graduate of the renowned School of Engineering and Technical Arts, Archie combines raw science with an unmatched intuition for all things mechanical to bend nature to the will of the railroad.

Archie made a name for himself early, as the field engineer for the multi-year expansion of the western spur . Scrapping plans to blast a track bed around a thorny mountain rock outcropping, he made a careful three-day study of the surrounding geography, and with five artfully placed charges, not only removed the obstacle but also exposed a rich vein of copper ore whose mining rights contributed to a doubling of share profits in the eight quarters thereafter.

His cantilever trestle bridge design promises to revolutionize mountain railway building by reducing by half the time required to span a typical mountain crevasse, and reducing the timber budget by an astounding 82%!
