To see him today, you would never guess that Thaddeus began work as a shovel and pick miner. But after witnessing the grisly outcome of many untimely falls by transport elevators, Thaddeus patented a new safety brake mechanism. The mechanism was used across the country in deep mines as well as in the increasingly tall buildings across this growing United States.
Now a well known local businessman, Thaddeus works from his office on Sutter Street, managing the production and distribution of his inventions.
