As the second born son of the wealthy Lord Feldspar, Tristan Pritchard had a deep disdain for his station in life. It was not the privileged upbringing he found so distasteful, goodness no. It was the assumption that he should always play second fiddle to his elder brother in everything from alleged intelligence to the massive inheritance that laid in wait.

Determined to gather his fair allotment of attention, albeit not in the proper way, Tristan began sowing his wild oats not long out of knickers. All but alienating his loved ones, Tristan lived life with a ‘no regrets’ attitude, even on the day the lives of his father and brother were cut suspiciously short by a most unfortunate carriage accident. Demonstrating half-heartfelt remorse, he became heir to the family fortune and is currently “mourning” his way through a bevy of quite consoling matrimonial prospects.
