I thought I was looking for a white shirt for my husband until I found this beauty. The shirt fit perfectly (sleeves are long, but that was noted on the website). The fabric is strong, yet soft and the stitching will hold up for years and years.

Not all Poofy Shirts are made equal. Bought this Pirate Shirt in a 2X for my boyfriend. He's 6'5" and, well, just bigger, and this shirt fit him like a yoho-ing piratey dream. The cotton fabric is a very nice quality, heavy with a little bit of knit feel to it, and the lace up closure at the chest, is just perfect to show off manly manly chest hair. If you're looking for the PERFECT PIRATE SHIRT, the Bartholomew is it!

Arr! I really be likin' dis' shirt! It be a nice quality shirt dat be nice and comfortable and it fits me well! I usually be cautious aboot purchasing clothing onilne, (especially since dubloons don't work electronically), and I worry aboot clothin' not fittin' properly or lookin' better online den it does when it comes to me ship, but dis shirt is a good quality shirt dat fits nice de way it should!

The quality of the piece of clothing itself is quite good--authentic fabric, firm stitching, good fit, etc. However, the dye quality is terrible; it is one of the least color-safe items I've ever owned. A single ironing job will stain your ironing-board cover black, and no amount of soaking in vinegar will hold much dye in. There is a notable lightening of color with every wash, and even if it is washed by itself, the next load in that same machine is in danger of discoloration from some of this shirt's bled-out dye. If you would like a shirt of this style to wear more than once, go buy the white version. It will not frustrate you at every turn.
