Parasols were an absolute necessity for young ladies during the Victorian Era, as having a suntan was considered a sign of coarse breeding. Our fine lace parasol could have been seen in any fine ladies hand as she strolled through the park with her beau.
Parasol measures 26 inches long and canopy measures approximately 30 inches in diameter when opened. Features a latch to keep parasol open or closed. 100% cotton canopy, including lace. Imported. Matching fan is also available.
