Classic Cotton Bloomers - Black

Love them! Comfortable and as described.

Just what I was looking for cotton (breathable), high-wasted, comfortable. They look darling under my short Selkie dresses and I also just lounge around in them. Will likely order a backup pair. Also shipped fast.

Since the size chart only gives waist measurements I went by that. The waist is plenty big enough but they are too tight in the hips and thighs. Good thing I sew. I’ll need to alter these and add pockets.

These are authentic, comfortable, and well made. The fabric is medium weight 100% cotton that feels a little thicker than the white ones. There is a drawstring at the waist (no elastic). There is no cinching at the legs. The bloomers stand up to the washing machine well, except the cotton lace curles a bit, but that steams out easily.

Awesome--especially like how you wrapped nicely and pressed it too! Hanger? That is awesome--did not even need a hanger! You CARE about your work--and your customer!

Viewers posted that the sizes ran small. I found the opposite. I ordered what I thought would fit and it is huge.

I order a small but they were still too big. The wide legs also did not fit what I needed them for. I think they were of good quality, but not right for me. For those reasons, I returned them.

I bought these bloomers to wear with my historical dresses, to replace the modern spandex tights I had been wearing. They're airy enough that I was able to replace one of my petticoats too, which was great since my petticoat situation isn't the greatest (or most historically accurate.) They're a weird fit on me, especially when wearing a corset, but the drawstring does its job and does it well. I found that it was more sensible to put these bloomers on over my corset, though, rather than under, if you're like me and wear that kind of stuff for hours at a time, or out to a lengthy event. Four stars only for the weird fit around the waist, and the price point (not kind to a student wallet).

The quality of the fabric and the finish is of a high standard.
I would however say, that the size does run large and would in the future order a size smaller to allow for this.
There is a lot of fabric to fit into my riding split skirt.

I bought my own bloomers for my outfit, because I will be wearing these 3 times per week the rest of the year and I wanted something comfortable, very nice and durable. These bloomers are better, by far, than any of the other bloomers that the theatre provided. I've already given ordering info to other people!

I love these bloomers! I bought a white pair for my spring dresses and love how they 'protect' the inner thighs as a slip doesn't do. And I was SO THRILLED to see they had them in black for my winter dresses.

They are just as they appear in images, and the sizing chart is accurate. The quality is great, and they're comfy. I'm 5'4" and these reach right down to just above my feet.

I had intended to return these for credit as the "rise" is not enough for a good fit but I tore the box when opening and could not re-use it for the return. It sits in the trunk of my car... I really wanted these to be perfect! The quality is good and the style just what I wanted for my Dicken's Faire costume. Alas. Maybe I can find a way to make these work for me? (fingers crossed)

I am a big gal with full hips and thighs and these fit. I am also 5'10" and they were long enough to cover the top of my boots. Very pleased.

These are MY FAVORITE PANTS!!! They are not only comfortable, but adjust well with their drawstring. The pants are unique and versatile. I can pop on a t-shirt and sandals to hit the grocery store (with a little flare), or dress them up with heels and a nice top for an exotic, classic look. The only problem...they fade in color when washed. Oh, well, I'll just have to buy some more!

I wasn't sure if I would like to wear Bloomers! Always wore slips and wouldn't look good under the skit I bought at Historical Emporium. I wrote to them once again, I wrote to them about the ankle shoes, skirts, blouse and bloomers and they answer quickly and never got upset with me, which is a plus, they reassure me that the Bloomers will act like a slip. Now remember I have never order anything from Historical Emporium and to have our accuterments accurate is important and I have found out is just as important to Historical Emporium!!!
I needed ankle boots, skirt, blouse, and bloomers to be expedited shipping, In 2 days they arrived hung on hangers in a plastic garment bag, shoes too were pack wonderfully.

Very authentically made bloomers that will look perfect with my Bloomer costume. If you're looking for historical accuracy and a strong Period look this is it. Unfortunately, the pants aren't flattering as streetwear as they have a drawstring waist and since they are 100% cotton they have no stretch which means in order to fit the cut must be generous which adds bulk and the lace must be ironed or line dryed to avoid wrinkling after washing. I do enjoy them as comfy indoor lounge pants though which is important to me as I like all my costume pieces to have a doublelife since I can't afford to keep them as just a fancy costume only.

The bloomers are great with my cowboy action shooting outfit.
I wear a split skirt so a crinoline wouldn't work, I took them up a cuple inches and let the lace show at bottom, they look great, and give a nice fullness the skirt would not normally have. and they are comfortable.

Love my new bloomers! They are comfortable and great looking. The only problem I have is finding an appropriate skirt to wear them under. I bought a pair for my sister as well. She is slender, so they look great even on their own. For women with a bit of a belly like me, the style of waistline is not flattering and better suited as an undergarment. I could see wearing them with a long tunic however. Just have to cover that Frappuccino tummy bulge!
