Transaction was fine, but the stockings themselves were disappointing..not “sheer” as advertised. I don’t expect to use them much…
Not as silky as I expected given the silk content, but I am very pleased with them.
These stockings are not what I expected but that is a very good thing. They fit like a dream and come up my thigh to a very good spot. They look durable and the are oh so comfortable. Thank you for a great product.

I just love these stockings! They are beautifully made, very soft and fit perfectly. I was a little worried about the tops being too tight on my thighs, but they fit beautifully.

Durable and super soft like sliding a cloud of whipped cream over your legs. The sensory experience is so pleasant that it's worth mixing with modern outfits or lingerie, after a nice bath and fresh shave or wax, for every woman whether or not you like vintage or historical costumes. I wish I had a pair to sleep in because they are so nice! They will hit about 4 inches over the knee for a tall woman so for short woman it will be around mid-thigh. They are 80-90% opaque.
They do not have a seam in the back. If you plan to walk in them past the boudoir then you'll need garters or ties to hold them in place. Also, because they are mostly silk I wrongly assumed that the white stockings would be more sweat resistant than than modern white nylon opaque tights in weather above 70 degrees Fahrenheit. This was not the case for me, so it's something to be aware of if your body sweats and you are primarily buying it for hot weather.
The directions say to hand wash, but, I find them durable enough to survive the machine on gentle cycle, every use flipped inside out, and air dried only. Flipping them inside out is necessary because some pilling does appear on the heel and sole only, but this might not happen if you hand wash as recommended, and it never shows anyway outside in. I have not had a single run yet after spending hours tramping around in them multiple times, which by itself, makes them much better in my opinion than regular stockings.
I purchased these stockings for a wedding event. I think they will do nicely.

These stockings are comfortable and stay up on my legs. Purchased to wear with a Renaissance dress to our annual Yule Ball. They were perfect and worked well with the AD shoes I purchased
I have the silk stockings in pink and black and I love them. They are soft and comfortable. I like that the tops don't cut off my circulation. They will stay up on their own, but do need garters to keep them there securely.
I have very thick legs and these fit great. They come just above my knee, but that works for my purposes. They are warmer than nylon stockings and very comfortable with garters. I will buy more and use them for everyday wear. Great alternative to polyester tights, which give me a rash.
My daughter wears these all the time. They magically stay up.

So pleased with these lustrous, luxurious stockings! I was never quite comfortable in my pair of old-style AD silk stockings, but these fit so well. (The other ones have gone to my slim-legged wife.)
Love them, I wear them with a belt. It is hard to find stockings without the sticky stay up top. Have the silk and cotton versions, love them both!
