Collar Studs (3-pack) - Gold Tone

These are fine. They do what they are supposed to do, but are a bit finicky to work with. My main complaint is that one stud should be longer than the other to be able to fit through the 4 layers of fabric on the front of the collar. As designed, these have just barely enough space to make it fit.

As most gentlemen will acknowledge, there are various and sundry times when one's authentic and expensive jewelry collection is simply NOT appropriate to wear. It may depend upon the location and/or the attendees at some function as well as the perspective of the person wearing said enhancements. Imagine losing your $10,000 solid gold with diamond collar stud while frolicking at a bonfire. Simply dreadful!

Gold color with some molding lines in them but not enough to notice from a short distance. Get a cufflink & shirt stud set instead and use one of those... however I read that studs from a stud set won't work with detachable collars and these will.

I use these for detachable collars. The button holes in the collars can get stretched by the studs making them less effective.

The collar studs were used with a detachable round-cornered collar. The stud worked nicely to hold the collar together in the front. I should have sewn a button on the back of the shirt near the collar so I could have buttoned the collar to the shirt. The collar turned to the side while worn. Studs are good quality.

I purchased the studs to complete my 1908 impersonation of a local historical figure for my city's 150th year celebration of its incorporation. They were perfect; easy to use and look nice.

Wonderful addition to my new shirts and detachable collars! Although you already get them with the shirt (in silver) it is always good to have some spare studs, and the gold tone looks great.

Well what can be said about these studs? They work and hold a collar, and they look very nice.

My Order was prompt; it was executed without a delay. The quality of the material was excellent.
The only problem I had with the Studs was; that they were all of the same size. I finally came to
the conclussion that they were meant for wear with an Evening Dress Shirt. eg all three buttons
in front. A collar studs consist of two; a long One and a short One. The long stud goes in front of
the shirt, because it has to pass through four holes; (the shirt has two holes, and the collar two
holes) ; the short stud, which is referred to as the back stud, goes through two holes only. One
hole on the back of the shirt, and one hole on the collar. You can verify my information with Austin

The collar studs work well and look pretty good. I would have liked them to be brass and a little longer to be able to fit through the shirt and collar at the same time for better fit.
