The skirt is well made. I love the button-fastening placket at the back of the skirt, which makes it easy to take on and off, and to adjust the waist. I am tall, so the length is excellent.

Both of my singers and my crew love these skirts! They fit well with or without a small bustle and we all love the button closures on the back. They are also longer than I thought from the pictures. One singer is 5'5" and it just kisses the floor with Victorian boots and the other singer is 5'0" and we need to hem it just a bit. I would certainly buy these again!

Fits well and length was perfect. Lighter weight cotton skirt works well for the summer.

I bought this skirt for a docent position. It was a special order. It came a couple sizes too big. I washed It several times & dried It in a hot dryer to try to shrink It. I will move the bottom on the waist as far as I can to try to be able to wear it. I called the shop but they weren't much help. They said I could return it & order the next size smaller, but it would take time & still be as long.

I wore it to the polls. I dressed as a Suffragette. Everyone loved all of your items I wore.

Item was purchased for our reenactment groups Victorian walk in Guthrie Ok. mid December. The skirt arrived three days early, just in time to wear to Clarmore's Dickens on the Boulevard that night. We entered their costume contest and won most striking couple. The only things on our outfits that didn't come from Historical Emporium were her hat and shoes, and my vest, cane ,and shoes. Everyone we met were very complementary.

I just love it, It fits perfectly. i will wear it with a grey and black vest and a large, flowered hat for a big fund raiser in August.

I am was looking for something to wear to a Dicken's Fair. The skirt is very well made and looks beautiful. I do wish it had come in different lengths since I am short and this skirt is made for someone who is very tall. A hoop skirt would not solve the problem. Keeping it though, since I like it so much.

I wish the skirts came in a shorter length. I need the larger size but am 5'2"; so the skirts always have to be hemmed . Extra work and extra cost to shorten.

This skirt is quite simply, lovely. It is a slight shade darker than I expected but I have no complaints. The quality, as always, has exceeded my expectations. It's a delightful addition to my Victorian-inspired wardrobe. I will need to have it hemmed (a downside of being vertically challenged). I will certainly purchase more items from this company.
