Our reproduction military-style leather gaiters are designed to add both polish and practicality to your historical ensemble. Traditionally worn over shoes or boots, they help keep trouser legs tidy when navigating rough terrain, brush, or outdoor pursuits. They are also a practical option for motorcyclists seeking classic styling with function.

Each pair features three side steel buckles and an adjustable strap that secures beneath the boot arch for a firm fit. Measuring approximately 9 inches tall, the adjustable buckles allow for up to 17 inches in circumference.

Crafted from genuine leather for durability and structure. One size, adjustable to fit most men’s shoes up to US size 13. Works best when worn with boots or shoes that feature a small heel to secure the underfoot strap.

Good but not great

I own a couple of pairs of the surplus Swiss motorcyclist gaiters, on which these are based.

These are fairly well-made, but the leather is not as thick as the originals, nor as it appears to be i. Also, the straps are a little stretchy and the buckle-holes are small and not all punched-through.

For the money, I was expecting heavier leather with better attention to detail.

Yes real leather, that smell when you open the package. Quality product. Fits well on top the boot and around the leg.

Workmanship

I found that this product was put together wrong or incorrectly. the bottom strap that goes under the boot was reversed. Meaning the brown side of the strap was upside down. So the soft underside was showing! It had been put on upside down on this pair of Gaiters! Other than this the product is of good quality and served it's what it was made for!

The straps need to be longer especially the one that goes under your boot it barely fit my size 10 boot, the fit is so snug I have to have help putting them on but they look great and are well made.

Not for Large Calves

These gaiters are well made of thick and strong leather. They are, however, designed for stove-pipe legs. If you have calves they may not fit. I have raised this issue with "Historical Emporium" who were excellent in acknowledging the issue and have indicated that will explore my suggestion of providing a girth measurement at each of the straps. If this is done the product would gain five stars.
