These are genuine and quite well made. They don't fit like modern pants.
I wore the Templeton shirt, cravat, suspenders & trousers for a performance of Edgar Allen Poe's 'The Raven'. The audience loved it and I looked great.

The occasion hasn't arrived as these trousers are at my tailor's shop being altered. These will really compliment my Dickens character holiday festivities.

The size 34 was too small so I sent them back for a 36" even though I normally wear a 33 or 34 so buyers take note

Can't believe this style ever fell out of fashion, so comfortable, and smart looking. I feel like a human being when I wear these pants. Perfect fit, suspenders buttons appear to be of a quality that will last, same for all the seams. Couldn't be more satisfied.

I bought this for Mark Twain Days. Lots of people dress in 1860 attire for the event. I look like I just arrived out west during the Comstock Era.

We attend the Great Dickens Faire in the San Francisco Bay area every year since 2007, with the exception of, well you know, Covid. And my husband had decided that he would like a new pair of pants so he could change up his regular outfit. Coincidentally, doing some googling, we found Historical Emporium. Even more of a coincidence it was about 45 minutes from where we currently were, in the bay area. So we called to see if we could by chance get these pants by picking them up. And the answer was yes. The most amazing customer service I think we have ever had. Not only did they take the time to make sure that this was the right pair of pants. But I think they even stayed a little bit past lunch. Fit after hemming. Wore to a Victorian Christmas craft show and got lots of compliments

I bought these pants for Halloween and I love them. I had to get them altered around the crotch and the length of the pants but in all honesty I liked that they only go based off of your waist size because it makes them much more customizable for your needs.

These pants fit very well and look great. I am especially impressed with the quality of these. I also like the manufacturer did not put their maker tag on the outside of the garment. The waist size I ordered is 38, although I normally wear 35-36. Packaging and service were excellent.

The fit was great, I'm always nervous when buying mail order. This is the second pair of trousers I have bought from Historical Emporium, I'm sure it won't be the last. I do my own hemming, by hand and it was very easy to measure, cut & sew.
I highly recommend your outfits to anyone interested in an accurate 19th century wardrobe.

These 19th century western trousers fit well and look great! But the standard 36 inch inseam is in need of cutting back to 28 inches or so. We're not all 6'6"!

As a cowboy action shooter, these pants will add a bit of flash to my outfits, good quality great color. Can't wait to get to a shoot with these.

I have been wearing heavy canvas pants with suspenders for 10 years while operating a historically accurate canal boat. Heat and the bulk of the pants have made them unbearable. My new lightweight cotton period pants have allowed for easier movement and less suffering from the heat.

These trousers are perfect for our upcoming production of "Newsies!" They fit well and are perfect for the end of the Victorian period.

I bought these trousers as a sample first purchase before I dove in all the way on my Tombbstone/Doc Holliday/Val Kilmer outfit for my annual Halloween party.

The quality and fit are excellent. I then ordered the rest of the outfit (Historical Emporium has the product lineup to essentially recreate one of the Doc outfits). Also excellent.
