Historical portrayal

Bought for my first civil war event. Was afraid they wouldn't fit, I always have problems buying pants. surprised they fit with a little room Worked out well. Will buy again

We received our order promptly upon ordering online. All of the items are very durable for much wear for living history programming. We would like to see the clothing become more and more authentic in the patterns of each era being depicted and sold even if the prices are a bit higher for greater historical accuracy.

Think of these as heavy blue jeans as far as when and where you wear them. Definitely winter weight.

I enjoy how historical these trousers are, along with their rugged style. Putting on a union suit, these pants, suspenders, and boots make you look like you came straight from the American Frontier. The waist is high, the pants look rugged and give a unique aesthetic on the body compared to modern jeans; the length of the pants are great for putting them over boots or tucking the pants into your boots; the waist size (30 I ordered) fits me just right and I have a small waist, and plus there is an adjustable belt on the back of the pants. The suspenders I have with the slits went right through the buttons on the pants very smoothly.

These canvas pants feel very comfortable, and I noticed I don't have to constantly fix my tucked-in shirt coming out compared to wearing normal jeans with a tucked-in shirt thanks to the high waist, suspenders, and little bit of stomach room around the pants that keep the shirt where it is supposed to be when I choose to wear a long-sleeved shirt with these pants. The pants, at least mine, are not real heavy, yet they are durable. I highly recommend wearing a duster coat and tall, tucked in boots with these pants and you will look incredible.

I bought these pants as part of my 1880's costume. They look and feel authentic and seem very well made. They do have to be professionally altered to length (they all come in 36" length), but otherwise they're amazing.

Had to get them hemmed but other than that love how thick they are and the way they fit me. It's hard finding clothes for a tall slender young man

Fits perfectly. Purchased a size 36. If your tall like me, you're gonna love these steampunk pants. If you're shorter, plan on taking them to a tailor. But the quality is worth it!

I love where these pants sit on my waist, great color and good quality fabric. The seam in the crotch already split unfortunately easy fix I suppose since it was just the thread

I mention the Duke only because I was re-watching Rio Grande and saw this very style being worn by all the Army personnel. The quality is so good that I wish I could wear these everyday, much more sturdy even than my blue jeans I have. These trousers were purchased for my Airship Pirate Doctor, excellent for sailing the open airways.

Brushed cotton trousers

My husband is a volunteer interpreter at the Tinsley House at the Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman, Montana. Our dress is supposed to depict the 1890' s homesteading era These pants to are just perfect. He is demonstrating the weaving looms and needed a look a bit more tailored than others who work in the gardens or the blacksmith shop. Stop by and visit the Tinsley House and farm. (The museum also has a great dinosaur collection.)

product. The material is absolutely wonderful. We ordered one size larger and the fit was perfect. Will definitely be shopping at your online store again.

Had to return the first pair, my body shape required a different size than the size chart suggested. No problem, replacement arrived very quickly. My seamstress custom fit them to me, she was quite impressed with material and construction. They do have a very long rise, but drape well and look good while wearing them.
