Edwardian Hoop Underskirt - White

Surprised. Anxious to try the gifts on.

The underskirt, once again, was made of material that really has me wondering. It's like a nylon that I think will have me sweating in the coming months. I've given it a 4 star but I'm not 100% sure on that yet

This is for a ballroom dress and it was very comfortable and it enhance the appearance of the dress. This is a well made product. Will have to put it to use and see how long it last.

A black hoop works better wiyh my dark skirts

Another product very well made. Perfect for the twill skirt I purchased. I was surprised to find how easy it is to store. The lower hoop adjusts easily to a smaller hoop.

Absolutely essential for the walking skirt. You will enter another world when you wear this. Do it, the other world is a fabulous place.

Love the underskirt. Really enhanced the style of the skirt I wore over it making a great impression on other party goers.

Quality workmanship and materials, but poorly executed. The top is held up by a sweat pant style string that has to be tied. It's beautiful when worn, but a pain to put on and take off.

Nice quality and without the hoop not too big. I needed to shorten slightly but that was easy by taking it off the top. Makes my skirt hang so much better and authentic looking.

The Edwardian Hoop Underskirt was very comfortable and easy to wear. Don't let the picture fool you because it is not as bulky as it may look. Thank you very much!

This item is perfect

I needed this underskirt for an upcoming community theater production. I am plus sized and was concerned whether it would fit or not. The fit is great! the drawsting waist make this very versatile. Also the quality is amazing. I would definately recommend the Historical Emporium to all my friends and Theater companions.

I own hoops, but I needed an underskirt to go with my new Edwardian outfit. This was the perfect underskirt, as it held the skirt out perfectly.

I am very pleased with my purchase of the Edwardian Hoop Skirt. It has a nice fullness , is long enough for me in my heeled granny boots (I'm 5' 9"barefoot).The description on the website is accurate. I can't wait to wear it under one of my gowns I wear ad a docent at my local historical society this summer.

Great hoop skirt. I wore it with the day dress I ordered which is a full length full skirt so it's heavy. The hoop holds the skirt out beautifully!

I was a little nervous about ordering this skirt after reading some of the other reviews, but now that I've received the underskirt, I have no idea what they were talking about. The hoop was in perfect shape, and I do not notice any annoying sounds from the hoop. Hoop skirts "swoosh" -- I did not notice anything unusual about the sound. It gives my skirt the right amount of fullness, and I love being able to choose whether or not I want the hoop or just the underskirt. My only possible complaint is that it is long. I'm 5'8", not exactly short, and it reaches the floor in bare feet. But it's easy enough to tie it a little above my waist, and my corset will hold it in place.

A little long for me, will need to be shortened, but otherwise exactly as described.

I was very disappointed with this hoop skirt, and returned it. The material is a very cheap bright white nylon acetate (that sounded like camping tent fabric everytime it moved) with coarse tulle that sticks out funny, and the hoop in mine was bent from being crammed into a teeny tiny box for shipping.

The only reason I gave this 4 instead of 5 stars is that the underskirt is as long as the dress I have (both are 40 inches). I will shorten it at the waist to bring it up about 1.5 inches so that it doesn't keep re-appearing under the edge of the dress when I move. Other than that, it's well made and works beautifully with the walking outfit I bought (003059 Lucille Walking Suit - Golden Brown) I like the option of wearing the underskirt either with or without the hoop!

The hoop underskirt arrived and was a perfect fit, the price was reasonable a well.

This is very much a "bridal" hoopskirt, acetate and tull and all, in snow white, not the ivory shade shown. I was hoping for something a little more period--at least a cottony feel to the fabric.

It did not take long at all to receive this item and it was PERFECT for my skirt. : )

I have purchased it for my wedding gown and I like the way it support the skirt of the dress. It would be perfect if there was an elastic band at the waist instead the ribbon, but I'm really pleased about my purchase.

This underskirt was perfect for under the silver skirt (also from the Emporium) I purchase as part of my bridal outfit. It fit a little tight in the hips (but considering my hips are over 15 inches larger than my waist that is not unusual and makes shopping oh so much fun) however not enough to make it uncomfortable nor bunch up.

The hooped underskirt was well made and I didn't even realize until I received it that it could be 2 slips in one. A hoop skirt, or remove the hoop & you have a "poofy" slip. Perfect for my long velvet skirt.

Great fit, good quality. Looked great under my skirt. I would recommend this. Size is true.
