Hoops became all the rage in the 1850s, when finally women were liberated from layers of heavy petticoats. These full cage hoops harkened back to the panniers popular in the latter half of the 1700's but with a new bell shape.
Our full circle 4 bone hoop skirt is crafted from 50% cotton, 50% polyester. Approximately 40 inches from waist to bottom hem. Bottom hoop measures approximately 39 inches diameter, 119 inches circumference. Perfect for a full look or for warm summer days when a full petticoat will be too warm.
Drawstring waist for comfort, maximum 38 inch waist, for larger sizes please order XL up to 48 inch waist. USA-made.
Each hoop is adjustable and can be made to accommodate a smaller diameter skirt. Hoops are made of plastic coated steel.
