I have been a customer of AD since about 2013 and I can honestly say that I have never been disappointed in the quality of the shoes. In fact, my very first pair of Tavistocks are still perfectly fine! When I first saw Foxtrot, I knew immediately that they were the shoes that HAD to have for my wedding. I wish I had more pictures of them for you, but I have provided a couple of the wedding. They were so comfortable and they added a lovely (and sexy) pop of red to our November, 2024 wedding! They do seem to run a little on the smaller size of "true to size". And, you will want to spend some time in them prior to your event because of the satin. But, you will not regret turning heads in these beauties!
Absolutely lovely!! Just as expected, really well packaged and came with extra heel caps and laces! You can really see all the care they put into their work. Really happy with my purchase.
These look even better in person. Rich royal blue shade. So comfortable! Nearly perfect fit. The same style and quality I am accustomed to from American Duchess. I wore them to church and got many compliments on them. ❤️

I did have to go half a size up to an 8 from my normal size (7.5).
They are so comfortable and fit perfectly. Super adorable and I love how the ribbons go up my calves a bit.
So excited to wear these as a bridesmaid at a gothic wedding. They’re classy, made with real leather and satin, and are just so whimsical and classical at the same time! I wish they came in the wide size but size 9 fits well (I’m usually a 8.5/9 so I’d err one half-size up). Pricey but a good investment!

I probably could have gotten away with a half size smaller (I have wide feet and order up from what my technical shoe size is) but they are still very comfortable and I have gotten several compliments. I may try and shoehorn in some more arch support since there is that extra space
I got the ice blue pair with the thought of using them as my wedding shoes. While I am still looking for a dress so am not sure I will use these for that purpose I love the look of these and they are definitely my fanciest shoes now. Compared to the Claremont (or Karolina) these are slightly loser, barely noticeably lower in heel, and pointier though roomy toe. I compare them because their general shape is so similar.
My one suggestion of improvement is the ribbons. When I read they came with 2 pairs of ribbons I thought one pair would lace-up to the top of the foot rather than wrapping around the ankle. While I like the look of wrapping and tying around the ankle, I was looking forward to the versatility of that and top of the foot.
Unfortunately the second "standard" pair is maybe 4" shorter (2" on each side) and honestly I don't see a reason for having both pairs instead of significantly shorter ones.
Hi Cianna - as noted in the description, we include two sets of laces in slightly different lengths so that the shoes accomodate a wider range of body types and sizes. Everyone's body is different, and we want folks with narrow ankles and folks with wider ankles to all be able to wear the shoes as pictured!
I received then today, they are so gorgeous, and so confortable. The photos are good, but the real shoes are so much more beautiful ! I will by them in blue very soon !
I bought these to wear with a 1910s lawn dress. They look amazing! I’m a museum docent so I was on my feet all day & they were comfortable standing & walking, even up the uneven servant’s staircase in the house. Love!!!!

I waited about 9 months for these shoes. They finally arrived. They are truly stunning. I have no idea where I'd ever wear them. They are true to expected size, surprisingly comfortable. I don't want to get them dirty, and I imagine it would take very little to get the beautiful satin dirty. Nice touch they came with an extra set of ribbons. Way too expensive.

Just received my Foxtrots and they are GORGEOUS! Not only that, they are COMFORTABLE. So comfortable. I got the red satin and am seriously thinking of getting the blue as well.
