Galway Flannel Work Shirt - Blue Twill

I live these shirts. one issue was where the sleeve meets the cuff. was not stitched. apparently they just missed when sewing. easy fix, great shirt. but be prepared for the possibility of manual quality control.

I've been waiting for cooler Autumn temps to arrive to wear this Galway Flannel Work Shirt. My immediate impression is amazement at just how soft the flannel feels and how comfortable to wear! It's a nice weight flannel, not too light, not too heavy........quickly becoming one of my favorite, go-to shirts for this time of year. Blessings!

Nice shirt made in Ireland. We received our order promptly upon ordering online. All of the items are very durable for much wear for living history programming. We would like to see the clothing become more and more authentic in the patterns of each era being depicted and sold even if the prices are a bit higher for greater historical accuracy.

Coffee buddies all admiring it. I teach old timey whittling and flower carving. Shirt is a good part of my persona. And I really like it!

No special occasion, looked like a sausage.
Be very careful about measurements. Pay no attention to the idealized measurement if you've got a gut. In such case measure the gut. This vendor's size chart designations such as 5X are nonsense in comparison to typical online vendors such as Wrangler and Jockey for example. A return using the same packaging and also USPS can be nearly twice the vendor shipping charge. Otherwise, would be a really nice shirt for normal wear.

I bought the Galway Flannel Work Shirt as a Christmas gift for my 18 year old grandson. He's quite tall, and prefers his shirts long. His face as he opened this gift was wonderful to see! He held the shirt up, excited about the length of the body and the sleeves. Quick as a wink, he slipped into the shirt and fastened his overalls, beaming with pleasure. It is the perfect shirt!

Runs slightly small, fortunately I ordered up a size. I should have gone 2 sizes higher.

I have previously purchased the green stripe flannel shirt and absolutely loved it. The quality of this one was exactly comparable, both smooth and very comfortable. The pattern on it is a little more detailed and eye-catching. I am Funeral Director, and so have to have some level of decorum, and what I wear, and I have found that this still looks nice under a vest or a jacket. It is a fantastic shirt!

I bought this as a kind of add-on to my order, unsure of how I'd like it. As it turns out, it is my favorite piece. Very soft, with a nice texture to the pattern, it looks stylish and smart without the need for a tie or for proper "dressing up." Paired it with a vest and Boom! Looking like a 19th Century Irish Farmer who anachronistically happens to work in an office.

Very well made. Made in Ireland! Soft heavy cotton. True to size. Hang dry these shirts, do not use hot water, warm is ok. I bought one shirt to try it out hoping it wasn't made in China. It was such high quality and comfortable I ordered two more a week after. You won't go wrong with these shirts. Comes in quite a few different colors.

I wear period correct outfits for some classes and events at my local museum. This shirt is comfortable on cooler days, looks great and appears to be well made.
