Slip on these vintage-inspired trousers and you’ll notice the higher-sitting waist and button-up fly—not to mention the suspender buttons and notched back with adjuster buckle. These are all era-specific design features found in pants from the 1800s. One inset rear pocket and two front slant pockets provide room for a gentleman’s smaller items.

Made from soft 100% brushed cotton. Imported. Dry clean only. Available in sizes 26–52. Part of our Gillespie Collection.

As you can see from the photos, these old fashioned trousers sit higher on the body than modern pants do.

For best fit, measure your torso (in inches) just below your belly button, and select this size of trousers.

In many cases, this will be one or more size above your customary pants size.

Our trousers come with a 36 inch inseam. If you need them shorter, you will need to have them tailored locally to your desired fit.

Sturdy and dependable

I like these pants very much. They're more sturdy than factory made pants, and I'm certain they will last a long time. Just learned that I need to get suspenders though.

Another Pair of Snappy Trousers

In previous pants orders (canvas) I ordered true-to-size. These ran a little more snug so I ordered up a size as suggested… they fit great! Super comfortable with a nice, smooth fabric. I will forever advocate for high waisted trousers and these are another great pair in my wardrobe.
