Hair Net - Jade Green

I have another red snood but it is not the quality of this one.

I love it. May need a few more.

I expected the hair net to be thicker and heavier, like the picture...it was thin, and after awhile, allowed my hair to slide through the holes of the netting, which affected the wearing time and costume appearance - it made me totally concerned about my hair instead of being my role.

The hair nets were well made, fairly priced and arrived on time. However, as the person who was conducting the school play pointed out, the hair nets are irregular in size, and larger than desired (my hair is bobbed). But this discrepancy in size is easily remedied by tucking the loose material under the elastic, up into the hair net. The nets are also fairly shiny and made from something like polyester, not natural materials. But I really like them, and would recommend them. I wear one everyday to work (I work in a historical candy shop) and even on my own time.

I'm directing a period play and looked under several eras in several venues for a black snood, the kind women wore in the 1860's. I found the perfect item at Historical Emporium listed under 1940's. It will look lovely and authentic on stage. The price was reasonable (although tax and shipping cost more than the item.) It arrived quickly.
No doubt I will come back to your site for future costuming needs. Thank you for existing.

This was a really nice hair net.

I ordered 10 snoods for my school's production of Crazy For You- The Gershwin Musical. The quality of the snoods were fine ... None of them have broken or torn or anything like that however they are all different sizes some of them don't fit around girls' heads and some of them are much too large... Some I them fit more like bun snoods and are extremely small so they only hold some hair and some hang down to the mid back and there is far more snood than hair. Also they did not have all the colors advertised nor a sufficient stock of other colors. Lucky for us our snoods were only seen from a 50 foot distance at the closest and the audience couldn't tell. They need to regulate snood size for sure but once they have that under control, these will be a great product!

This is comfortable, easy to wear, and look so old fashioned, the crochet is attractive.
I can wear it either alone, or with my hat.
I will be buying more in different colors.

I love this hair net w/its various colors so much that I bought 5 hair nets.

I originally bought these nets to keep my long hair away from my food when I prepare it. In the meantime, I loved this little beret so much that I wore it out to lunch w/my friend for something different. And I bought 2 white nets because I intend to dye one in the color
purple. Plus, I've ordered actual berets on line, which I have yet to receive, whereas these wonderful hair nets came to me in record time.

i've been looking for a NICE snood for about a year now. all i could find were hand knitted ones that were bulky and not particularly attractive. the ones i purchased from the emporium were exactly what i was looking for; just a good old fashioned sleek snood. if the emporium expanded into the realm of the renaissance, i'd shop there more often. i do have my eye on some other goodies though.

The hairnets came in a timely fashion. The construction is very durable and heavy duty. I have a thick head of hair that also is long, it stands up well. I was very happy to find this product. When it gets hot I'd rather not have all my hair wadded up in a hair net and close to my head. It lets my hair still remain loose and the bottem catches all the hair that falls off the back of my neck, so its not flying all over. My husband says it actually is appealing on me, dosen't really look like a food service hair net, but it works as one.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this snood. It was very comfortable, looked nice, and stayed put on my fine, slippery hair without giving me a headache. (I did add a couple of bobby pins to hold it in place more firmly, but it stayed up fine without them.) I liked it so much I bought another one in brown!
