Well-constructed enough to make the fake pockets real...

Ordered a size up (I'm a buxom 44" Bust measurement, and typically order a size up in women's shirts for proper fit; ordered an XL) and it closes well, but vest is just long enough that crumples a bit at my generous hips; also rides up uncomfortably high at the back of the neck. I hand-washed it (tag says Dry Clean Only) very carefully in cold water and it survived (wool yarn bloomed/softened a tiny bit). The false pockets are made with actual, hemmed openings so it was not difficult to add real pockets.
