Lorena Ruffled Skirt - Black

Referred to size guide and was concerned I needed to allow for tucked in blouse. I was wrong. I ordered next smaller size and it fit fine. It is actually a nice quality skirt. I will send the first skirt in for a refund only because it was too loose.

I originally ordered the grey version of the Lorena skirt and LOVED it and the color of it but had to change to the black for color/costume matching reasons. This is a good quality skirt and will be fun for my steampunk costume. Note that the waist is VERY high - I ended up sizing up one size just to try to get it to sit a little lower. I love the look of the bow, but because the waist is so high, it will have to be removed or repositioned so that it can be worn with a corset (when I tried the skirt on with the corset, the bow was located approximately at the top of the lower set of corset ties).

This is a lovely garment and it fits exactly according to the sizing chart. In the picture it was hard to tell but it is made of a cotton or at least part cotton fiber.
