Madison Vest - Light Gray

I thought that from the description that this would be more of a summer weight. The combined weight of the vest and liner fabric. Is a bit thicker than I thought it would be.
The vest is very nice. And looks great. It will go good with my Callahan Frock Coat - Charcoal rather nicely.

Comfortable for every day wear as well as to Sunday church services. I've received several compliments on this (and all the vests) I've purchased

I love this vest, especially in the winter, as it's a heavier weight and very sturdy. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is that it comes with plain black plastic buttons that feel just a touch too large for the button holes. For my purposes it's not a big deal, since I don't do re-enactments or cosplay, but given the source (Historical Emporium) it seems to me that it should be provided with buttons with more period-style appearance.

Style, cut and color great for a lighter spring vest.

I ordered the Grey Vest for a wedding I will be going to in August and wanted a vest with a little personality. I wanted something different that a current style vest. I am very pleased with the style and quality of the vest. It arrived quickly and in perfect condition.

These great looking vests are better than pictured! They are also easy to alter for repeated use with other actors.

Just not what it looks like on the web site. I couldn't get either a "M" or a "L" to fit well, unlike other Emporium products.

Needed the vest for a specific look for a play. It was perfect as was the quick delivery!

This is a very nice vest, the fabric is very soft and it feels great when wearing. The only knock against it is that it has plastic buttons, so if you're looking for an authentic "old time" vest, you'd have to change the buttons. I may do this still. But overall, this is a very nice vest and I would buy it again if I had to replace it.

The vest arrived in good time, in excellent condition and is all it was advertised to be. In fact, I'm wearing it right now as I write this reviewe.
