Muslin Bonnet - Ivory

I already told you. It is lovely, except for the crease down the middle that does not allow for a round presentation. Next time, do not fold it in half, but rather spread it wide for delivery.

I love this bonnet--it looks especially nice with the burgundy work dress.

I wore this wore a pioneer event even though it was a bit too large for my head. There was plenty of space under the bonnet if one wanted to put hair up in a bun, but even with that there was plenty of space left over. That stiffer sides were a bit too large for my small head so they were not as rounded as I l would have liked when it was tied on. It kept the sun away better than the mop cap so I wore it anyway, It arrived folded so you may wish to iron out the crease at the top prior to wearing,

The bonnet does look authentic, but I added some ribbon and silk flowers to make it prettier.

How cute is this bonnet and bought back memories for my mother who was born in 1915. When you wear this Edwardian clothing you somehow take on that era. I wore this bonnet to Edwardian party and played the part well.
