Very nice blouse, worked well with the other items I purchased for a special costumed dinner party. I've made a blouse much like this, but this one is nicer--plus it buttons up the front. After washing, it required no ironing, which is a bonus.

The fit is good and it's very pretty

I will wear this with the black walking skirt as part of my outfit.

This pinstripe blouse was very appropriate for my black riding pants! The size was just right an the material is perfect. I need vintage attire for riding our old time bicycles at events with my husband. The outfits i have bought from here are of very good quality and i highly recommend!

My reenactment involves light hiking so I was afraid to get a pretty white blouse that would show every speck of dirt. I really liked the pinstriped blouse for its crisp appearance and slight formality compared to a colored blouse. I found it ran a little smaller than I expected, possibly because it is shaped more than less tailored blouses. The next size up was perfect. I love the sleeves and the beautifully gathered back yoke. It looks fantastic with the black walking skirt, and goes beautifully with my various silver vintage belt buckles on black cloth belts. I originally chose it because it reminded me of a Victorian-look pinstriped blouse with front ruffles and puffed sleeves that I already owned, but the front ruffles had serger-stitched edges - which just looked wrong. This blouse looks perfect - every bit as good as I hoped for!

Nice shirt, but the material and construction were not up to the same quality of the Margery blouse. This fabric of this shirt is very thin.

Purchased for The Dickens Faire. It's as pictured and the material is nice. What's more, I am a buxom woman, and no matter if I measure myself, blouses fit tight somewhere. Not this one! Shoulders line up and it's not tight across the chest. Thank you!

Purchased as part of a costume to play the role of a schoolmarm at the historical society. The cloth was soft and substantial. Very much like a shirt I would buy for everyday wear. I appreciated that it was long enough to tuck into my skirt without pulling out. Will definitely buy more from Historical Emporium!

I do like very much this blouse, except, the sleeve length, I have a M and a L size.

I compared the blouses, found the sleeve lengths are the same.
I bought the L for two reasons, the sleeve length and the fullness of the body.
The fullness of the body is good in the L size. but the length of the sleeve, I needed a 1/2 inches or a bit longer.

They fabric is great, and the design goes with several of my costumes.
I just thought you would like to know.

I purchased this pinstripe blouse and the matching skirt for an upcoming event in my hometown. The event requires us to have on traditional looking 1850's clothing. This outfit is fashioned perfectly for the time period, very well made and fit true to size. I am so impressed and felt the price was great for the quality I received.

Purchased this for my wife and she is very happy with it for her 1870's impression. Shipping was amazingly fast, ordered on Friday and it arrived on that Sunday. We will be buying from Historical Emporium again.

Beautiful Blouse! Pay attention to fit. I had to return this blouse and order the next size up, which I did because once it arrived and I saw it in person, I had to have it! Very well made and just a gorgeous design. Extremely flattering. I ordered a size L using the bust measurement in the fit chart and the blouse did fit, but the neck was uncomfortably snug and the sleeves a tad short. The next size up, XL, gave me the length in the sleeves I needed (I will be working a box office while wearing it) and more comfort in the neck. There is more room in the bust area, but as I am tucking it into my skirt it will tailor visually. So by all means buy this blouse, but take these comments into mind if you are lengthy in the limbs to avoid paying return shipping.

Sizing chart was different on this one and the one I ordered was too small so I returned it.

Make sure to order by bust inches and not typical size.

I have the pinstripe skirt and this compliments it as a set. I have a cameo which I think will enhance the look of the collar as well.

This blouse looks good and fit my girl friend good. Sizing seems to be right, the blouse is very well made. It is also price $10 higher than the same exact blouse from another vendor and that vendor does not charge shipping. I over payed by $24, shop around.

Well made and good quality. It would've been better to order 1 size larger as it seems tight and doesn't align with the size chart. I hope it doesn't shrink very much.

The photo suggests the blouse is gray, but it is as advertised - black and white stripes. Good quality. A very smart addition to my Dickens Faire outfit. Received several compliments. Read the hints on sizing. I did, and it fits perfectly.
