Beautiful silk scarf has become my favorite in my collection. It is a bit thinner than some of my others, but I find it helps it move through my scarf slide more fluidly.

Good Period Silk Scarf

I needed a new period-correct silk scarf for the recent galvanized Yankee living history event: Purgatory, Into the Canyon, 1866. Such scarves are good dust filters (I also use them at Burning Man for the same reason, the fine clay silt dust storms and whiteouts we get out there). And of course far better than cotton when you need to get your coffee boiler out of the fire, being prone to not catch fire as cotton might.

Nice smooth silk, great accompaniment to western style vests. I use a standard tie knot like four in hand or oriental.

Excellent Neckerchief!

This neckerchief is of excellent quality and a lovely sturdy silk. The print is perfectly done, the edges are nicely rolled and the colors are beautiful. No stray threads and it is a nice large size.

The item is of good quality, however the photos do not accurately reflect what the scarf actually looks like. There is alot more black and very little rust color. The pattet is much larger than it appears online.
