The skeleton dial can be a bit distracting and can make it difficult to discern the hour hand in some positions. It may just be a matter of acclimation. I was glad to find this available.

Jazzie charles hubert makes gorgeous pocket watches, very reminiscent of the victorian period. this one is beautiful and large, with an easy to read face. it keeps excellent time. the embossed designs on the front and back make it stand out, and also it resists fingerprinting. any pocket watch by charles hubert makes a lovely gift, or heirloom. it's fantastically rare to find something like this of real quality, that was not made in china.

Emily I got this pocket watch for my boyfriend as a graduation present! He absolutely loves it! The window where you can see the gears is an awesome touch. I had hopes to get it engraved but there isn't really room with the design on the front and back. Other than that though I couldn't be happier--and neither could he!
