Supremely stylish, our Preston Striped Trousers make getting ready for the day effortless. Pair them with a work shirt to tackle your to-do list or add a dress shirt for the office or a night on the town. Striped trousers were a common sight in the 1800s, and this striking pair reflects the authentic look seen in towns across America.

Constructed from a durable cotton blend, these trousers feature a high-waisted Victorian cut, button fly, and riveted suspender buttons. Three front pockets and one rear pocket provide practical storage, while the adjustable back ensures a precise fit. The legs are cut approximately 1 inch wider through the thigh and calf than our regular trousers for a roomier feel.

Made from 80% cotton and 20% polyester. Imported. Machine wash cold. Hemmed with a 36-inch inseam. Available in waist sizes 30–52. Offered in several colors.

Sizing Notes

As you can see from the photos, these old fashioned trousers sit higher on the body than modern pants do.

For best fit, measure your torso (in inches) just below your belly button, and select this size of trousers.

In many cases, this will be one or more size above your customary pants size.
Wide Leg

These trousers have a 1 inch wider thigh and calf than our other trousers which will provide a roomier fit.
Inseam

Our trousers come with a 36 inch inseam. If you need them shorter, you will need to have them tailored locally to your desired fit.

They look great! Made of nice, tough material. Will be durable for a show with a long run, but 2 seams burst at 2nd rehearsal. Easy repair, but still.

Assembling attire for cooler weather. Trousers are still at alterations for a 32" inseam.

These were tight. All my other pants are 40" waist, but these 40" were very hard to button closed.

The occasion was to be our county's inaugral civil war days, Muster on the Maquoketa, but our seamtress was unable to have them shortened in time. The fit is excellent and quality is good. Just would be nice if they came in standard lenghs.

Beautiful Print, But Big in the Legs.

Beautiful color and print.
They fit well around the waist, but sadly, the legs and backside were far too baggy.

These unfortunately were a return rather than a costly trip to alterations.

Quality

Our grand daughter has chosen the theme of late Victorian for her wedding. Her colors are red and Gold. The first coat, shirt and pants that I ordered were too big and I needed to return them for the next smaller size. The exchange was accomplished within 5 days. A company rep. was very helpful when I called about the problem. The replacement garments are a good fit although I will need a small alteration to the vest because my middle is larger than my chest. Quality & workmanship of clothing is excellent and I expect that they will last for many years.... and Never go out of style. Thank you! I plan to order additional items in future.
