Satin Hat Band - Purple

I sing in a Dickens caroling quartet, and we're updating our costumes this year. I've seen other groups using coordinating hat bands, so I thought I'd give it a try. It's perfect - it adds that little classy touch. Easy to put on my top hat.

Hat bands are one of my favorite accessories. They're easy to apply and one of the fastest ways to change the feel of an outfit, particularly if you have a tie to pair them with. I bought this one for my Valentine's day outfit to dress up an otherwise all-white top hat and really, the whole outfit wouldn't have hung together half so well without it. The one thing I always forget is that they do tend to crease in the package, so allow time to give yours a quick press before wearing....or, you know, don't. No one's ever seemed to notice that I've forgotten!

The satin hat bands are very easy to install and a great and easy way to customize the look of your hat. I happened to purchase a top hat from Historical Emporium and a bowler from another retailer. I bought 2 satin hat bands on Historical Emporium.

When the hats and bands came in, I just followed the YouTube video provided to me and it was very ear. The bands that come with the hat are meant to stay there, so getting it off was a bit of a pain, but well worth it.

This silver hat band accentuated my hat perfectly on my most special wedding day. I wore it all through the ceremony, reception, dinner, and even the pub crawl that followed. Everyone knew intuitively that I was the lucky guy today. I was gesturing with it, in a Charlie Chaplin-esque miming manner, raising it from my head, rattling it over my heart, and more. The band came loose only once, after excessive silliness during the pub crawl. It was easy enough to re-affix, even when drunk.

I now have two of these hat bands so I am able to match the hat with the outfit I am wearing

This has much more charisma than the black band that was on my hat. Also green is my favorite color. Putting it on the hat requires just a modicum of patience; take your time.

The hatband made such a difference to the drab black hat, really made it stand out from all the other hats. Relatively easy to put in place, and has stayed very well over 6 days of hard wearing.

It was a little hard at first clipping it onto my hat. Once I clipped it on it held on well into the night and the times I used the hat again. It's a good look in person.

I will be buying more of these to match my partners colors but this is an excellent product that is beautiful and allows incredible flexibility for me.
