During the latter half of the 19th century, ready-made shirts came in a single (extra-long) sleeve length. Sleeve garters allowed men to customize sleeve lengths and keep their clothing from becoming soiled while working.
These garters measure 1 inch wide and 10 inches to 17 inches when fully stretched. Recommended for arms with a 12–16 inch circumference. Available in several colors. Imported. 100% polyester. Dry clean only. Price is for one pair of garters.
