Four-Pocket Canvas Vest - Sand

My last two Historical Emporium vests have been Black~ well, there was a paisley one a coupla summers back... anyhow I've already gotten compliments on this one. Looks kool over a Hawaiian shirt or with khaki and earthtone garments for everyday wear. Lots of pockets for businesscards, pocketwatch, punk/metal earplugs, collapsible sewing-scissors and short Sharpies... I've been ordering vests from HE for 15yrs at least and the design-quality and variety rules!

The sizing is a little bit small and the buckle on the back is missing the loop to tuck in the tail,or else it doesn't make sense to me.

I am pleased that I have found an establishment that has historic clothing for "grown-up folks", meaning larger sizes. The vest is comfortable roomy and fits well. Upon detailed inspection I find no faults. I am well pleased. I will order again and I recommend this establishment to anyone interested in historic clothing, particularly fellow "Cowboy Action Shooters".

This is a BEAUTIFUL waistcoat! Its perfect for my Historical Interpretation; its well made, durable and authentic in every way. It will now be my every day waistcoat!

This is a well-made product. The fit is perfect using the site measurements as a guide. The delivery was prompt. Excellent product for sass competition.

Really nice vest. Seams are well sewn and finished nice. Canvas has a nice fell, soft but rugged. Should hold up to use/abuse well. Sizes tend to run small, order one size up. Will be ordering a black one soon.

Love this vest. My daughter's groom and groomsmen are wearing this and the matching field trousers in her wedding. They look so nice! The quality is fabulous. I would say it's pretty much true to size, if anything it is on the bigger size.

Was worried that the the 7 vest I ordered would turn up and either be the wrong size or not be good quality,but they are very very good quality , if you follow the size chart properly then you will receive the correct size, this was the extra one we had to order, as one of the groomsmen measured himself incorrectly.

This vest is the perfect match for our wedding , it gives off that old western style without looking like a costume, this vest especially feels like carrhart fabric so it can easily be worn after the wedding you can dress it up or down, so to me thats really good although the price of the vest was very reasonable I'm pretty sure we would have spent more on rentals.

Although I bought a workman's vest (nice canvas), the quality of the vest is excellent. I buy all my dress vests from the Emporium now and I haven't been disappointed yet. Thank you for filling this need. I know I can purchase from you with full confidence.

As always, the quality fit and finish of your product is beyond reproach. The color is true to the photo, and the canvas is heavy duty and appears to be long lasting. Love the rivet buttons as well!

More 'rustic' than the Sand Mountain also ordered--fit was true, as was color. They've chosen an odd type clip/buckle for the belt in back--otherwise, it would receive a 5 star.

All I can say is that Historical Emporium has the best customer service of any online company that I have delt with. Even when I had a problem they promptly resolved the issue and were very professional. I have nothing but praise for this retailer. My only wish is that they would offer more selections of vests in 4X sizes. I am sure to do business with Historical Emporium again.

I wear this and two other colors of the same vest to work every day over an oxford shirt. It holds my keys, cell phone and a handkerchief. Comfortable, of substantial material, and with classy and sturdy buttons. Well worth the price. Look forward to many years out of these vests.

Very well made. Tough substantial canvas. Sharp looking and crisp with khakis and a tie, or with your favorite jeans and boots. Yes, I'd recommend - excellent value!

The Walnut waistcoat is exactly as advertized and I am very pleased with the purchase.
I continue to be highly satisfied with all products I have purchased to date.
This waistcoat did arrive damaged, not in shipment but in manufacturing. The belt keeper
on the back was bent and broken. Accordingly, only 4 stars on the Quality Control.
However, a simply "Fix" took care of the issue and it is
good as knew.

Great vest. Fits me well. I'm a large man and usually have trouble with fitting, but this vest's sizing is perfect. This is the second vest of this type I've purchased from Historical Emporium. I can't say enough about their customer service.

Overall good quality, but the buttonholes are a little tight and needed to be pushed open a bit before buttons would work without fear of ripping them from the vest body.

These are very nice , sturdy vests. I have the tan version, also. The only ptoblem is that the edges of the button holes fray rather quickly and require reinforcing with more stitching.

This vest is of very fine quality. The adjustable back allows for any additional winter weight a man might put on in the winter months. The material is sturdy and should be suitable for working conditions, and the structure and stylish look of the vest make it ideal for wearing out as well.

The Historical Emporium helped me hit my father's birthday gift totally out of the park with the purchase of this vest. The tailoring & fit were perfect. He slipped the vest on 1st thing in the morning and it was one the last things to come off that night! I'll definitely be making future purchases from this company.
