Just not my style

For a silver vest, the Klondike, the Montgomery, or the Showman all appeared to be quite similar so I based my decision just on the pattern visible in the closeup photos -- I liked this pattern best. What I did not see from the photos was that this Showman vest is VERY metallic silver. I believe the others might be more satiny (which was what I imagined) rather than metallic. It's still a very nice vest, well made and the right fit, and I will still wear it -- but it's a bit "louder" than I was expecting.

Really liked this vest as it can with extra ties and can dress up a plan suit.

I really like the shade of purple on the vest and ties. The vest is a comfortable fit and will go well with a formal event as well as a re-enactor event or costume party. Excellent product all together!

The vest that I bought was a beautiful material, good craftsmanship, and looks just like it's picture. The ONLY problem is, when buying something off a website, you don't get to try it on to see how it fits. Because I am tall and slender, the vest was essentially a beautiful purple tube on me. I had to have it tailored to fit me properly. Don't get me wrong though... I will most likely being making future purchases from this site. They have a great selection!

So far my boyfriend has not worn the vest, it is for a cruise in October. Every year I buy a vest for him from your company and have never been disappointed. Every year on the cruise he always get several compliments on his vests. One year on the cruise this lady got close to him and stated "I always love to see a man in a nice vest"....I laughed and said to myself "this woman thinks she is Mae West....hahaha
Anyhow, we are always pleased.

The vest looks exquisite. Very classy, but still fits in at a SASS event.

The product looks impressive but I found it stiff and not a silky feeling as I am used to. Also your sizing is very large. I ordered a small which is usual for vests but easily used an xs. As was I ended up having it tailored to the appropriate size and even the people in the shop thought it was mis-sized.
But now it does look good.

Like the vest. The buttons leave something to be desrired. Two came off very easily and because of their design, can't be fixed to be re-attached to the vest. Will need to look for something else to use for a button. Other than that, very nice.

As an entertainer, I used this vest on christmas day, on stage. Very good looking in the light of the stage.

I love this vest! It's a birthday present from my Mom. I've already been asked by several people where I got it. Love wearing it to church when I sing special music.

Beautiful material, great styling. Just now, a 2X fits me in a WAH vest, but a 1X is better for me with this manufacturer. I can get in to an "L", but it's a near thing. The HE staff were infinitely patient with me exchanging sizes until I got the right one.

The vest is quite showy and looks good, however, it is larger than the typical size category indicates; I bought a small and it was designed more like a medium. Also, the strap in the back only has a limited amount of room to tighten because of how it is sewn: I had to cut those strings blocking it in order to fasten it tight enough to fit. I also had to cut open the pockets displayed on the front, which was tedious. Overall it's not a bad vest but it does come off as cheap.

The vest looked great, however, the back strap was sewn with a very limited amount of room to tighten: I had to remove those strands in order to tighten the vest further. Also, the size category is not that accurate: I ordered a small and it fit more like a medium. The pockets were also sewn shut, which I've always found tedious because then you have to cut it yourself, and there's a chance you could damage the fabric. Overall, I love the appearance but it does feel cheap.
