I bought these as cosplay boots but they are so comfortable that I am going to order them in black to be everyday boots. They are great quality, so comfortable, waterproof soles, and sizing is consistent on all styles of AD shoes and boots.
These boots take a minute to lace up, but all those laces make them wonderfully adjustable! The soles are flexible and just grippy enough. They require no breaking-in, I wore them all day right out of the box.
I've had these boots for about two months now, and it is my go-to work boot. The rubber sole especially has been a life saver as the wood floors where I work have some slippery areas that require a more solid grip. We have too much snow to wear outdoors as yet, but I look forward to trying it out as a hiking boot.
