An "Albert chain" is a standard pocket watch chain featuring an extension known as a "drop." This small additional section of chain dangles from the T-bar, which attaches to a waistcoat or jacket lapel. The drop often ends with a "fob." Most fobs were purely decorative, but some gentlemen choose affiliation badges such as university or family crests for their fobs.
Our Albert chain features a single 9.5 inch long chain with a swivel clasp, a 1.5 inch wide "T" bar to secure the chain to your vest through a buttonhole, and a small 1 inch chain to attach a watch fob or a decorative charm (sold separately).
