I wear safari hats when I work outside in the summer. I remain cool, and people tell me I look cool too. This is a great replacement for my old sunfari hat.

Every bit as good as the Brookstone version, if not better.

Great Hat, highly recommend it to anyone, Been wanting to find a good outside hat for hot weather and this is the one!!!

I previously purchased a brookstone safari hat and after looking on line to find a hat similar since they are not available anymore, I chose this brand because the price was higher and it was not described as a clown hat as some were, compared to the brookstone this is a Dud, it is shaped completely round which cannot be changed. If you have a ball for a head IT MIGHT FIT, BUT THE QUALITY AND FEEL IS AGAIN NOT AS GOOD AS THE BROOKSTONE.. Another example of they don't make then like they used to..This hat will not stay on my head because it is round, the brookstone sat on my head through wind and tree branches.. What else can I say.......PH

Just what I was looking for! A nice safari helmet to wear while cutting the grass. I tried the usual supplier (Amazon) when a friend asked me to find her a pith helmet. What we got was a nice enough helmet, but the adjustable headband was simply glued in, and had no sweat band.

This unit has a much nicer interior, with it's two-piece band, with the outer parts being RIVETED to the helmet, and the adjustable band is able to do it's thing independently.

A great hat! I'll be back to the H.E. in the future (ha ha).

Quite good, nice and light, good for light duty use or dress. Lacks ruggedness for actual utility. Good light duty quality.

As advertised, the color is fairly similar to the photo. I had one of these from Brookstone, who no longer carry them. The new helmet came stiffer than I remembered, almost laquered, but they do soften with time. My old one lasted for about 16 years before getting too floppy and worn.

I could not be more pleased with my purchase. My pith helmet is extremely lightweight and comfortable. The headband adjusts for a perfectly snug fit. I have had no issues with it blowing off. The ventilation is such that it keeps my head cool even in the midday sun. The brim keeps the sun out of my eyes without obscuring my view. Well worth the price! I highly recommend this hat to anyone!

I have a big head, which makes finding hats online a considerable and often disappointing challenge. This looked like the perfect hat for a murder mystery—description said adjustable to all sizes. Well, it has taken a good amount of stretching and squeezing, but this will work splendidly. The hat has stood up to quite a bit of manhandling. I know I'll be wearing it when summer finally gets here. A quality item. I'm very pleased with this.

Great hat, but the velcro sizing mechanism doesn't work very well for a melon head like me.

I bought this hat as a costume prop, but I like it so much that I think I'll actually wear while camping. The headband is adjustable which is nice because I can't find hats that adjust to my small head. This hat fits great and keeps plenty of air circulating between your head and the inside of the breathable hat. Good quality hat.

I must say that I am VERY well pleased with the product. I'm a carpenter by trade and need the sun protection the product provides. Its very well constructed and comfortable.

I've allways liked these helmets. My only problem withthis one is that it dosen't allow very much air flow. I realize it's probably just the luck of the draw as to how the two layers of mesh align with each other. This one aligned in a position that closed off a lot of the weave openings. Other than that, I'm enjoying it. So far it seems to be a nice product.

One day I thought it would be good if I could get A pith helmet for his shows. I went on line and found your Company, this helmet fit the bill perfectly. The price was right, and the Quality is excellent. I was surprised at how fast you shipped.

Ordered the hat and received it in time to wear during the 2013 Atlanta Peachtree Road Race. The hat is well made and sharp looking, but I have only one complaint, it is NOT one size fits all. If you have a head that is bigger than 22 inches in diameter, the fit will be tight and almost unwearable. The hat description does not tell the customer what the hat sizes are and it should.

Great hat - exactly what I was looking for except for one small problem. It is sold as one size fits all. At its maximum adjustment, it did not come close to fitting my head.

I wanted this hat because I live in the tropics and have had two skin cancers. I will be returning soon, so need a good hat.
Baseball caps just don't do it - they are getting old hat (excuse the pun!). And they do not shade the ears and neck.
I love it - it is great! My friends are jealous! People ask me where I got it. Many people remark on it. The only question I have is about the cloth part of the band inside which adjusts the size. I guess to clean it you just have to sponge with soapy water and then try to rinse with clear water and leave to dry.

This was a gift to my brother, replacing one I had purchased years ago from Brookstone. A new safari hat was badly needed and this one is perfect! Light weight, it's a great hat when riding a tractor in the fields.

The hat is great. Originally ordered the white because the photo for the white one makes it look kind of an off-white or eggshell or cream or something. This white hat is WHITE WHITE. Bought this one to replace it and will be returning the white one. The Khaki one is not as dark as it's photo but not as light as the white one's photo. Just fair notice to anyone ordering the white one hoping for a "natural" color or off-white. Get this one instead.
