Velvet Trimmed Regency Tailcoat - Black

I love the products offered here at the Emporium, and have had great success with most of my (albeit still small) historical wardrobe fitting quite well. However, with this particular coat, my chest size (36R) is not available, so I got the smallest size (only a inch or so larger), which should have the correct sleeve length. Unfortunately, the sleeves reach past my wrist to my knuckles when my arms hang down. Having already anticipated possibly having the chest taken in, it is not too frustrating to have to add the sleeves to the list, though it will increase the overall cost and be a while before I can afford it. Still, I had hoped to wear it soon after receiving it, which I may do, though it shall not look as good. Also, it is heavier than I had expected, so it will definitely not be summer wear for me where I currently live. All in all, a very handsome coat, distinctive and historical to boot. I am ready to become Mr. Bingley or Albert Mondego.

Now, THIS is a coat!! A real 18-19th century look here, but man, it is cool! Am looking forward to the cooler weather and maybe a Holiday party or two to break it out. Should stop a few clocks (lol)!

This was the last of the items that I unwrapped, keeping the best for last. And best it was, I have never seen a greater Coat! I always wanted a tailcoat since I was a child, but somehow did not like the standard tails they usually wear for concerts. This one is just perfect, and the fit is good. Wearing this tailcoat you WILL draw attention from EVERYBODY around, even if they don't look curious. The price is such a great deal that I would order another one, if I didn't have a number of other coats from Historical Emporium on my whish list.

Well worth the money, this tailcoat fits snug and is dazzling to look at. The material felt great as well. Overall, this is a superb piece of gentleman's clothing that can be worn to any formal occasion, whether it be a ball, opera, or whatever. I would recommend this site to anyone who needs to get their gentleman's accessory and clothing fix satisfied. It's a pure quality product.
