This top hat is of a higher quality than the one I originally bought from Hats in the Belfry (and returned).

I purchased this top hat for more or less everyday wear, as I have to walk with a cane (your silver tone skull cane, in fact), and I may as well look stylish while doing so.

The top hat rests very well on my head. It fits as sized.

I added a few feathers to the band, and I have received several compliments when I have worn this top hat with my kilt and cane.

but I wanted a collapsible top hat but this is a good example of the top hat!!! I just wanted a collapsible top hat because my grandfather had a collapsible top hat when I grew up and I used it like a toy not knowing that he actually wore it

This hat was perfect for a costume based on Bram Stoker's Dracula. Although I look nothing like Gary Oldman, my costume did and that made me perfectly recognizable to most at our annual Halloween bash. Only those who were too young or hadn't seen the movie had no clue. And, even if I hadn't gone that direction, the classic costume, including the Victorian Top Hat were amazing. (classic costume not included)

Very high quality top hat that was delivered in a box commensurate to it's size. I had ordered two other hats from a different company and they were both crushed because of the small boxes they were packed in.

Ordered these for costumes for Victorian Carolers. They just looked wonderful and the gray really popped from the background. Highly recommended, the quality was fantastic and fit well. Just terrific.

I tend to dress archaically daily. Depending on what I'm wearing people call me: the mad hatter, Col. Sanders, Dr. Who, the Monopoly Man, the Joker, the Penguin-- the list goes on. I own several Derbies, top hats and Fedoras. I shop for clothing at thrift stores, flea markets and online. Shopping online is a gamble. I've never been cheated at Historical Emporium, where, like Sam Colt said, "All goods worth the price asked." Thank you for being fair.

I have always wanted a Top Hat. I purchased the Wahmaker Highland Frock Coat and have worn it to Court (I'm a lawyer). When it came time for the annual reading of the Declaration of Independence at the Court House, I knew I had to wear my frock coat, but wanted a quality Top Hat that didn't look cheap. I ordered the Victorian Top Hat, the quality is amazing. The hat looks very nice and I intend to wear it occasionally come Winter. If you are needing a hat for a Victorian impression, I highly recommend this hat.

I'd been wanting a top hat for many years. I kept looking for one at hat shops - most don't carry top hats - and when I would find one, they never had them in my size, the shape seemed off or the quality was really not up to par. This hat fit as advertised, and was very comfortable to wear. In fact, wore it for an evening of Victorian era dancing and received many compliments.

I am looking for any hats that can look good while conducting Masonic Lodge. This had does not meet the standards. I thought it would, but it is too over the top. This can only be seen in person as opposed to internet. The shorter Top hats I got in exchange are working so much better.
